Ricky Wong’s (王維基) City Telecom attempted to recruit numerous TVB artists to join the rival television station, including TV King and TV Queen, Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華) and Jessica Hsuan (宣萱). It was understood that Jessica’s contract with TVB will expire soon, thus she became a recruitment target. Currently, Jessica was filming a mainland series in China. Asked to verify the City Telecom’s recruitment offer, Bobby and Jessica’s manager, Lydia, did not answer directly, only stating that the artists had value and a market and were frequently recruited by other television stations. Bobby and Jessica had many employment choices. Requiring Happy Filming Conditions and Adequate Rest Lydia noted that TVB recently contacted Jessica and Bobby regarding the renewal of their contacts. Since there was an extensive time period remaining in Bobby’s contract, Lydia handled Jessica’s contract first. Asked whether TVB’s proposed conditions were more generous than previous renewal offers, Lydia said that mainland prices cannot be compared with Hong Kong prices. Jessica required a reasonable price and currently there was a variance from TVB’s proposed offer. As a result, a consensus was not reached yet. Since Jessica will be filming in China until the Lunar New Year time frame and there were other upcoming work projects, there was no rush to make a decision. Both Jessica and Bobby valued their health foremost and required happy filming conditions. They required adequate rest periods. Filming in mainland, Jessica and Bobby’s contracts clearly stipulated the daily working hours. Asked whether Ricky Wong had invited Jessica and Bobby to join City Telecom, Lydia answered indirectly, “All along, Jessica and Bobby have received work offers. They have value and a market. However, money is not the primary factor in determining whether they will stay at TVB or go elsewhere.” Lydia added that TVB gave the green light allowing Jessica to film a television series in Singapore earlier using her real and undubbed voice. These two really have high market value so and with all these new public TV channels wanting TVB artists, TVB will have to give in to some of the requests and offer better conditions to even stand a chance to getting their artists and staffs to stay...
They were in Pillow Case Mystery. Just aired in canada, finale was on Monday. But TVB got to stop being gay and just give the actors a good pay + conditions if you want them to stay..

tvb hasn't been coming out with anything good for the 2 of them in recent years. if i were them, i would jump ship and go somewhere where they are appreciated and can get decent working hours. judging by past articles tvb treats them worse than slaves with the hours they have to work. tvb hasn't really used any veterans. here's a thought: in men with no shadows joe ma would've been awesome in raymonds role and jessica maybe in tavia's role?? wouldn't we want to watch it more if it were like that??? not saying it would be a better series just more worthwhile to watch. sick and tired of seeing raymond lam and i dont thik bobby and tavia make a good on screen couple.
totally agree with that. not really a fan of joe ma either though i admit he'd be good in raymond's role.. tavia and bobby is just ridiculous! I'd hate to seen jessica and bobby leave... i love them both!
