Eason had won 5 Metro Hits music awards the other night. He did better than Andy Lau who won 3 awards but did not attend the award presentation. Eason told reporters if Andy turned up for the presentation, he would have won more awards. Earlier on Eason told reporters he was not very confident in winning the awards, but his "Here Is The Way" has won him the Metro Hits World Song. Eason explained "This song has got the points from the whole world's radio station. Mandarin songs have a bigger market, I don't have confident." Eason was particularly happy that Kay Tse, Khalil Fong and Hins Cheung all received an award. He reckoned this year Joey and Kay will have a competition.
