Crazy and dumb tax laws

So my best friend got hit with a huge tax bill this year just because he got married. I am not going to go into specifics but long story short and simple

married couples with a combined income of 200k or more get's a tax hike vs if they were both filing separately 100k each or 150k and 50k.

He started a petition online and was looking for more people to sign

Ever since the switch over. I followed and continued using dramasian ever since.

Out of the blue I went back to check out poplularasian to have a look yesterday.

I checked out the chinese movie download section. all the download links they have listed are ad link. the link is reprocessed by a third party.. so it takes you to an advertisement then it takes you to the download..

I really don't see any reason to go back there.. unless you like seeing the moderators called eviltofu....

I just returned from a trip to Hong Kong this summer and one of the most profound discoveries I made there is to notice how HK uses 'private' property to facilitate public mass transit. Buses, subways (the MTR) and pedestrian walkways are all somehow deeply integrated with private property to the point that one soon realizes that it isn't that private owners are altruistic; rather the city likely mandates it as a condition before granting any license to build.

A recent tragic outcome of a friendly beach outing reported in the news. I believe the prime cause of this was a simple misunderstanding of the difference and danger between pool swimming and surf swimming. Every year, there's a load of teens who likely are fairly decent swimmers in a pool environment, attempt to swim at the beach without the full knowledge and appreciation of what an ocean surf environment entails. They then pay a steep price for a very sad...

Because of the BOTS and other programs being used, NIKE had cancelled many of it's up coming high demanding shoes because of it and are trying new ways to fight back. That only made it harder to get and added my hype to it. Resellers couldn't be helper, Retail price $160, resellers were selling it for 500+ before and after.

It's the same at footlockers/footactions etc. They have the same problem as well. I recently tried to buy the Chicago 1's on FTL and it was gone in a sec....

So hard to get some nike jordans 1's these days.

Ever since the Blair Witch Project, when the jerky, bobbing lens supposedly lent an air of "real life" authenticity, film makers have used this filter to make their movies seem more action packed. Wrong. All it does is make it annoying and I wish they would stop. I can understand if it's a combat scene, but normal people walking around don't visualize the world around them with such dyslexic bobbing unless they're either drunk and or stupid. >.<
