Finally back from my long vacation in HK (more than a month). It seems a lot of things happened. The channels in the 百合电视 app are currently still not working and there are some new apps (Youtube, Youku and a sports app). I hope they will fix the channels in the 百合电视 app soon. Time to test the new apps.

You should be rich in about a year Just FYI, all Logitech Harmony remotes can learn the commands of the TVpad remote. You can also use any Samsung Tablets and newer Samsung smartphones as a remote for your TVPad.

Phantoman - I think that app is called "电视精灵". Here is some info about it: link. It is the last app on the page. Depending on what firmware you have, you can download it from here: link. If you have the 2.70 firmware, you can download it here. Download the ".rar" file. It is the #11 app. I don't have this app yet. Let me know if it is worth downloading for my TVPad. Check out this guy's webpage or his forum. He was able to map out each TVPad remote command for the Slingbox, which I think is pretty smart. Maybe you can ask him for the hex values on his "tvpadfans" forum.

I tested this with my tablet and it was able to receive the code for the power on/off button. Unfortunately I see no way to get the hex code from my app. Btw, the first time it didn't work. Had to reprogram it for a 2nd time for it to receive the proper code. Thanks. No, not possible. I read somewhere that it used to be possible with older models, but they removed it due to some issues. I believe this feature has been requested again for the next firmware version (3.0), but not sure if it will be implemented. *** Attention *** It has come to my attention that the discount codes for the TVPad are making money for people that own those codes. Whether they are getting rich with it I don't know, but to be honest I do not see it as a bad thing since you also get $30 discount when you order. Now there is one such code on the main page of this thread, but it's not mine, so I am not getting rich with it. There are lots of these codes floating around on the Internet, so feel free to use another one if you prefer. i used to pay 12 months contract just for watching tvb jade for £400 in uk and now my parent are very happy to have a tvpad that have saved us alot of money also my parents ask me where can i download the tvpad apps i just only know that there are youtube and yoku can be downloaded i have downloaded them on my tvpad..
All the available apps should be in the microSD card. Or you could download them again (see the FAQ in the first page).
