About a month ago, it was reported that Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) will star as the sexy female lead of director Wilson Chin’s (錢國偉) new movie, Lan Kwai Fong 2 <喜愛夜蒲2>. Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀) expressed before, that he was nervous about the bed scenes with Christine in the movie. However, rumors ran rampant about Christine being extremely flirtatious with Wilson Chin, instigating his girlfriend’s jealousy. Subsequently, reducing Christine to a supporting role in Lan Kwai Fong 2. Upset with all the changes, Christine chose to withdraw from the project! Wilson’s girlfriend, Calinda Chan (陳宛蔚) was alledgedly upset with how Christine seemed to be exceedingly flirtatious in his company. It was reported that Calinda had a heated argument with Wilson during dinner about the issue. To pacify his girlfriend, Wilson made a decision to reduce Christine’s role in Lan Kwai Fong 2. When Christine accepted the job to film Lan Kwai Fong 2, it came with the acknowledgement that she will be casted as the female lead. However, Shiga Lin (連詩雅) has walked in to take the lead role instead of Christine. Christine’s character has gone through considerable script changes, with less screen time. Wilson rejected the rumors that his envious girlfriend was why Christine’s role had been cut down. He said, “I do not have a girlfriend. I won't let private issues influence my work. The main reason in adjusting the female lead is simply because Christine Kuo is filming War and Beauty 2 <金枝慾孽2>. TVB was not able to provide the filming schedule, so script changes had to be made.” Wilson pointed out that Shiga Lin was already in Lan Kwai Fong 2, but her screen time will be adjusted to replace Christine's tight schedule. Another rumour was that Christine Kuo was troubled about her bed scenes with Kelvin Kwan. Wilson denied this, “When we first looked for Christine, she and TVB knew what type of movie this would be,” expressing that both parties know that Lan Kwai Fong 2 was predominantly marked with passionate scenes. Christine stated, “When I accepted the role, the company said I was the female lead. We discussed about it at the beginning of the project.
