Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅) gave birth on June 5th to a baby boy and rested in the hospital for several days. After returning home, the 38-year-old coped well with the demands of motherhood and even got to sleep through the night! Yesterday, Miriam’s husband, Real Ting (丁子高), shared a photo of their son, Torres. The couple named their son after Spanish soccer player, Fernando Torres. Giving birth via Caesarean section, Miriam was unable to truly rest at the hospital with the disruption. Torres possessed good appetite and Miriam had to feed him every two hours. Miriam apologized for not accepting press interviews on the day that she left the hospital; she was tired and had wished to go home quickly. Miriam Yeung: “I Finally Got Real Rest!” Miriam admitted that hiring a maid to cope with her postpartum recovery helped immensely. The maid was a wonderful cook and prepared three meals for Miriam each day. Since it was important for Miriam to eat plain but nutritious meals to aid her recovery, her husband, Real Ting, has taken on the task to taste all of her meals beforehand! Miriam laughed, “He ate one-third of my bowl of congee earlier!” Since Miriam had worked as a nurse prior to becoming an artist, she felt that her earlier training had helped her prepare for the challenges of caring for a young baby. Miriam said, “I want to take care of the baby responsibilities as much as possible by myself. Since I was a nurse before, I have a basic background. There is no need for everyone to be too anxious for me!” Returning home, Miriam started pumping breast milk and storing it for later feedings. Miriam’s maid has taken on the baby bottle feedings at night, allowing Miriam to get much needed sleep. Asked if she was eager to give Torres a sibling, Miriam laughed, “Let me get accustomed to being a mother first. I will think about it later!” Creds: ihktv
lol no. They use Torres for their baby's first name. So its Torres Ting. They named him Torres because of the Spain soccer player Fernando Torres
