I think all the settings to their default, because after the tvpad finished with restoring. My first screen was the three numbers that I need to type. after that I see all my app are installed. It works great now

Hello Phantoman my dsl 5-15 M,right now I run a speed test and get about 14 Mbps for download and 2 Mbps for upload.I'm still having a lot of channels are freeze on TV app.here are the channel that freeze every couple second(9-12,16-19,22-24,33-48,59-67)the rest of the channel are find,also other apps are find too.
Which app are you using ? And are you seeing this problem with all apps ? When you compare the channels that work and the ones that don't work, what is the average different in download speed (click on the OK button to see) ? The only thing I remember that there is, is HBO and CNN ??? What channels are you interested in ?
Ok guys, I had another small victory. Notice any strange apps on this screen ? Notice any strange TVB channel playing on TV ? I managed to hack an existing app and change it in a way that it will fetch my own channel list instead of the channel list from TVPad's servers. I'm going to refine this a bit further now. For those who have PMed me, I did read your messages, but I'm kind of busy at the moment. And once I finish with this little project, I'll go watch some Falling Skies to relax my brain, I think I deserved that much So don't expect a reply today. Edit: And here is a sample channel list. The pic is not very clear, but TVB Classic is playing in the background. Some of the channel names are a bit too long for display, so I need to correct that.

Didn't know that they have that show outside the United States. If you like Falling Skies, you should check out the Avengers animated series. That show is excellent. Go take a long break.
Nice! I also bought a TVPad and enjoyed the episodes/live-streaming TV shows. On another hand, I found the customized PPS APP is missing alot of HongKong Cantonese dramas. Many dramas/shows are hidden due to regional/area issue. It would be awesome if you can modify the customized PPS APP to "fake it" as localized in Mainland/Hong Kong (as described here: http://www.vodeblog.com/2012/03/wat...on-restriction-malaysia-windows-7-windows-xp/) Final thought: I wonder if there's any way to build a "continuous function mode" while watch a series of episodes. i,e, you don't have to use remote control to go to next chapter.. It's a bit annoying that TVPad does not come with such useful function.
It indeed sounds like it's an issue with the source, but it's still not clear to me which App you are referring to LOL, I don't think I have to worry about Apple, I think TVPad has bigger problems with Apple (Apple TV anyone ?) And there is no Falling Skies here yet, but I have my ways I will check out the Avengers, thanks. Because there is no such channel on the TVPad As mentioned earlier, I created my own channel list. I have already played around with the Movie Valley (PPS) app to see if I could remove the restriction. It's not that easy as with the PC version, because the PPS servers have a dedicated show/movie list for the TVPad, so it's not based on region. I'll give it another go when I have time. You are aware of the new VOD app for TVB shows/dramas right ? The 港粤快看 app. And I guess for this "continuous function mode" to work the TVPad would need to support playlists. I have no ideas at the moment how I would make this work.
wow maige tv is pretty stable the quality is also fine sound is good HD channels are not real HD but its same or little beter then the lily app TVB HD channel depend on which channel if the source is HD those channels are the best on the device. i don't understand the weak screen quality on the tvpad for tvb news and J2 channel .... they don't have on demand app for hk drama's or shows but they have the tvb channel for rewatching aired episodes also those will eb aired in weekend in a row. also crappy is they sale the adapter with usa plug .... lucKy i got a home a eu/usa outlet to hk plug converter and a hk outlet to eu plug .... ¨¨pfff using 2 power plug adapters .....
