Yes they are quite stable. From to time you can experience some pixelation (when the video has to resync), but it's not annoying. Keep in mind that these are streams from the Live Streaming thread. So they are here now, but tomorrow they might be gone. Thanks for the update. If my TVPad ever blows up I'll definitely consider a Maige TV. Btw, do you notice any ghosting in the video ? So when there are fast moving objects, is it still sharp ? Only if you are a girl As I mentioned to you via PM, the app is not ready for consumption yet. Only geeks can use it right now :trollface2:
Btw, I moved the Hacking section in the main post to the ClubTVPad forum. The idea is that we discuss technical hacking stuff on that forum instead of here. So from now on I will only update this thread with hacking info if there is a major breakthrough. In the meantime superhan will entertain you guys with the Maige TV j/k
Hey Superhan Did you get a chance to read my post for you? It is post #570 on this thread. How many Hong Kong channels are available to watch so far (the TVB's and iCables)? Did you try the PC and IPAd version yet? Does it work? So is it worth the money to buy it and are you happy with it? I think the Maige TV receiver was meant for use in China, but everyone with an internet access can use it anywhere in the world. That is why you need the adapter. I can't wait to hear your results. I might just buy one sometime this week or next week. Enjoy all your those new channels tonight. Must be exciting!! BTW, are you still using your TVPad?
Nope, I fixed it with the custom firmware! Thanks so much and sorry for the delay, I went on a short trip for a couple days. I guess the problem was that the 2.72 firmware didn't completely install. Thanks again! edit: The distributor wanted $50 to fix it, so I took it home instead. You saved me $50
yes tvpad got something unique with Phantoman and tvpad third party group its usefull thing. mine tv is lcd tv is more then 5 year old on mine regio cable tv with 720P content i also have ghosting. But on the maige tv its very noticeable indeed. the best channel is TVB Encore : for peoples life in different time zone this will be most watched channel. i hope in the future the will also add 3 more TVB channel : food , classic . entertainment news
Hi guys.. I just got my TVPad in the UK and everything works fine, however 1 thing that kinda strange.. the SOUND Sync'ing.. the sound/speech lags about 1 sec behind? Is this normal? I know I'm streaming etc but I thought it would be slightly better than this.. My broadband speed is 60mb and 15mb upload speed....
Ermmm I just tried all of them to be honest... Edit: strangest thing is, I unplug the HDMI cable and it works fine?! But turn the unit off and it happens again.. Another Edit: I've played about with the 'lip synch' function on the tv and it seems ok now Triple Edit: after 10 mins of synch free, the programme slowly loses its synch arghhhhh!!!!!
Do you have one of the TV listed on the 1st thread that is not compatible with TVpad? They symptom you are describing sounds like it's with the TV model you have. Sharp LC-65D64U; Sharp LC-52D64U; Sharp LC-C4655U; Samsung ua55b6000; Sony 32EX400;
Strange, all channels out of sync (by 1 second) does not seem likely. Last time I checked (yesterday), the tvb and atv channels worked fine without lagging. I will test them later again.
No its not on the list, its a Toshiba thats about 2 years old... The Toshiba TV has a lip sync function and when i turn it on OR off, it works fine for like 20 mins then slowly syncs out to the point they look like ventriloquists!
Waw! The distributor must be rich soon if he keep charging like that, or poor if everybody runs away like you, LOL. I'm glad that the firmware helped though
new App They just release new Hongkong App, according to TVPAD fan forum. They just released yesterday. Anyone know where can I download it? Thanks.
Hey guys, we just uploaded the latest new and improved 港粤快看 Quicklook TVB app by TVpad on my forum. If you like to test it out you can download it in the Download section on our forum. www.clubtvpad.com/forums I know some of you don't approve of my forum. But I'm just trying to help the TVpad community and would love to gain PA member's support. I am providing solid updates and news that is very informative to TVpad fans. I don't see what's the harm adding another resource for TVpad. cheers!
It's not possible to get it. It was just a proof of concept and not ready for consumption. Ah! I guess you would have more luck finding a stream on the Internet. Maybe if my app is ever released you will be able to add it yourself to a channel list. I agree! Before we had single English threads for TVPad all around the Internet or the Chinese TVPad forum (which is a pain if you don't read/write Chinese). Now with the ClubTVPad forum we have an English TVPad forum Anyway, many people here also frequent the Chinese TVPad forum, so I don't see the problem.
Not checked in here for a while but looks like you are still keeping busy with the h4x0ring That Phanto app looks interesting. Keep up the great work!
