My TVPAD M121 I got my box 3 days ago and it comes with Korean Apps install. Anyone out there has the same?
I don't think that the Korean streaming apps are working without customized firmware. Maybe they are only Korean VOD apps. If not, there is no point of selling the Korean TVpad anymore.
Unless someone is selling my custom firmware. Anyway, under normal circumstances the Korean VOD apps are also blocked now. Does it come with the Solive app or any other Korean live streaming app ? If so, do they work ?
Yeah, that might be the case. Maybe negobus can tell where he/she got the TVpad from (Ebay seller, local store or directly from website TVpad).
It is impossible that someone sell your firmware because I got it brand new. I'm the one who break the seal when I open it. I got it local.
As a reseller, all units coming from TVpad manufacturer are blank with no apps installed. I'm 110% sure it's your local reseller that pre-installed the apps for you. The seal is very easy to remove without getting it damaged. The question is do any of the korean apps actually work? If it doesn't work, that mean your dealer just installed it for you to claim they have the most apps for their TVpads. If they do work, please check the firmware and let us know what firmware is being used. thanks! Club TVpad
Yes, it is working All Korean apps are working fine. The only two apps not working is Comprehensive Theater App and VOD App. I uninstall VOD app and reinstall it and it is work fine now. However, I can't find Comprehensive App and I can't install new Hong Kong Look app on Club TVPad. I put all .pkg files into USB but my TVPad can't find them. Any help???
Can you please confirm the firmware being used? Go to Settings - scroll all the way down to info and click ok. You should see firmware #. I assume you already have quicklook app installed. You have to uninstall it first, then install the quicklook app from Club TVpad. Please let us know what Firmware you have. I'm wondering if it's 3.0. If it is it can play both Korean and chinese app.
It is said TVPad Version 2.72. I already uninstall Comprehensive App and My didn't come with Lily TV, so I put 3 apps on my USB. 1. New Hong kong Look app from Club TVPad 2. Comprehensive App 3. Lily TV. However, my box didn't see the files on my USB at all. My format USB with NTFS as the instruction said.
That's really odd, 2.72 shouldn't allow you to play any of the Korean Apps. Many have already confirmed this no longer works. Lily App is dead, don't waste your time with that. Make sure you keep the .pkg file format and it is at the root of the USB. What size is your USB, 2gb-8gb should do. Try formatting the USB to FAT32. Good luck!
That's what I will try next to reformat with FAT32. I took a picture but look like this forum can't upload pic direct. I have to find host somewhere and link the pics.
