Have anyone also problems with 粵海寛頻 and Hitv lately?? Many channels like TVB Jade, Jade HD, ATV are not connecting, only a few of them is working. The speed stays at 0-10 kps and its not buffering. The problems start at 09:00PM UK Time almost every day since last week.
Hello, I got TVPad and I have a problem. I'm using HDML video and I was clicking around trying to get this TVPad to work, I clicked settings and clicked video then found composite video and clicked it not knowing what it was.. now when I try to open TVPad it's not opening at all. It should come up settings and app manager. Please help?
Try pressing F1 twice and wait 2 minutes for TVpad to reboot. If that doesn't work check other steps on my support forum. http://clubtvpad.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=6
Wifi Adapter I know that LAN cable should be faster.. I am just wanna clarify again.. If i connect my my unit with TVPAD compatible wifi adapter N 300 Mbps, which one should be faster ? Cheers
Got my answer from Internet, anyway can confirm below ? 300mbps 802.11N is half-duplex, so it's at most 150mbps each way. Throwing in overhead and interference, real world speeds may be 80/80. 100mbps Ethernet will out preform 802.11n most of the time.
I have a quick question, when I try to watch mkv videos via sd card on the tvpad the subtitles doesn't show up. I was wondering if anyone can help me or have any knowledge of this issue?
It really doesn't matter which one you choose. Both of those are probably way too much speed for your use. The only speed that matters for the TVPad is the speed of your internet. If your internet speed is 50mbps download and 10mbps upload or more, then maybe you might have to think about it. A regular router with Cat5 cable is adequate.

Perhaps this machine can't handle mkv video's with external soft subtitles. I know some media players also can't play mkv video's with external soft subtitles. You have to "burn-in" the external subtitle in the mkv video.
Well the mkv video I was trying to play had subtitles in them so it shows when I play the video on my computer, but it just doesn't show when played on the TVPad.

Hey dreamyip. I didn't order it yet. I am going on a vacation, so I will buy it in August when I return. From what I heard, the Maige TV is really good. It has the same quality as the satellite tv, like DirecTV and Dish Network. The hong kong channels that are available in HD, are in true HD quality. There are a lot of those channels. Someone else on this board (superhan) also ordered it . Maybe we should just start our own thread The PC and IPad version works pretty good also. Can I ask, where did you ordered it? Was it from alibaba? One more thing, can you read chinese? This is a big help for me and "superhan" because we can't read chinese. We are trying to figure out how to pay the subscription.
Hawai, Yes, I bought it from Alibaba but it is still not ship yet (after 3 days). I contacted the seller about membership fee after first year, I was advised to contact them when the first year membership is approaching the end. I guess the seller will somehow receive the payment from me and pay in China there.... I think it is a great idea to start a new thread. I can read Chinese but Magie TV web site doesn't tell you how to pay membership fee unless you have an account with them... and I don't have it yet.
