Just want to let everyone know that the only difference between TVpad M121 and M121s is new firmware 3.0 and new chipset TCC8902. So the 2 devices are identical in hardware besides the chipset. The newer chipset has 3D graphic support but the speed of the cpu is the same at 800mhz. You can read more about it here
New Vietnamese app NamTV for M121s Just posted new video demo of NamTV app for Vietnamese channels for TVpad. http://clubtvpad.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=160
hi everyone. i just bought a tvpad over the weekend, and the connection has been established. im using a powerline adapter but it seems that the tvpad has issues establishing connection automatically when i turn it on... i always get the monitors with the exclamation mark at the bottom right corner... even when i wait for a minute or two for it to connect, it doesnt... so itll have to go into the setup everytime to manually even though ive chosen automatic connection... any help anyone can suggest?? i would really appreciate some advice...
I've had the same issue and someone else as well. The only solutions are: 1. Don't turn it off (standby, red led is on) and leave it on the main menu screen. 2. Never exit to the main before going into standby. That way when you hit the on button it still has the IP address from before. 3. Turn it off at the main when you are done. When its turn on from the main during startup it will ask for a new IP address.
Does the powerline adaptor connect through wifi or network cable? If it's a network cable, I can't help you. If it's a wifi and you're on 2.72 or lower, I could. I wrote a small fix that gets around this issue.
I dont why my TVPad is getting very slow to load, up to a minute to load up to the main APP screen, something I have noticed lately. Anyone experience something like this at all after months of usage?
The pad takes the normal time to load up so no real change there. However, my parents have been using this in the last few days and have told me that whichever app they use if they watch for 15 - 30 mins the screen locks up and the only way to get it going again is to switch it off by powering down to the red light and then switching the power socket off and on again. Is that normal or do I have a faulty machine?
Nope, never had this issue before. Can you remove the microSD card and any USB devices before powering on to see if it makes any difference ? Are we talking VOD or live streams ? Also check if the TVPad is very warm to touch. Maybe a case of overheating ?
Is there a way to watch the UK version of TVB on the tvpad? It's called TVB Europe. Sometimes its better to watch shows in your own timezone instead of hong kong timezone which is 7/8 hours faster than the uk....
the only solution for you is that your are making a deal with the tvpad team. so they pay for your tvb europe subscription but you need to upload the 5 channels to there servers
Looks like superhan quoted the wrong post But yeah, I have never ever ever ever seen any streams of TVBS-E (The Chinese Channel). If there was a stream available online you could use the Phanto app to add it to the TVPad. There will a TVB channel on the TVPad which is going to be delayed by 12 hours, but that's mostly for US people. Nothing for Europeans as far as I know. That's the reason I was asking if they were seeing this with Video-On-Demand (VOD) apps or the live stream apps. There have been some problems with the 港粤快看 (Quick Look TVB) App lately, but it appears to have been fixed since yesterday or so.
Hi everyone, this seemed like the most active and informed forum regarding the TVPad, and I had a couple of questions. My parents came home with a TVPad bought for them by a relative, and now I'm tasked with making sure it's ~perfect~ for them -_- It's the Korean version, so it came installed with all the Korean live and VOD apps. Everything seems to be working fine, and my mom and I were pretty pleased with how it was working (very little buffering, good quality), but my dad pointed out that the drama he's watching right now is 2 episodes behind (currently on episode 53). I think he mostly just wants to be a pain in the ass and doesn't realize someone has to sit there and record and upload all this stuff, so it's not instantaneous (the latest episode aired just last night in Korea), but he did point out that the online site they normally use (http://www.modomoa.com) already had at least episode 52 uploaded. Does anyone know exactly how frequently the VOD apps are updated with new episode? Like I also see that some of the other programs are at least 1 episode behind or so at this point, although again the newest episodes aired last night or two days ago. Thank you! Also if anyone knows any other apps that would be good for Korean programming to download through the app manager, that'd be great too
Hi I recently purchased the TV app - M121S, I had a look in the app garden but was unable to find the Lily TV app, is the Lily TV app still available and is it available for download online? I've tried looking for it but cannot find it =(
The Lily TV app does not exist anymore. So install the Yue Hai Cantonese TV (粵海寬頻) app if you want Cantonese channels. You can download apps from one of these places: http://clubtvpad.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=13 http://www.tvpadzone.com/english/download/apps300.html
Hi, I have just brought a tvpad and am unsure if this is normal or not. Everythings connected (HDMI) and I see the initial splash screen but couple seconds later it flashes then goes black. I tried pressing f1 twice but no luck. And there's no signal at all when I connect it to the TV via AV. Any ideas? Thanks Edit: I followed this post btw : http://clubtvpad.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13 Nvm. Somehow it started working
Folks, I can do with some help here. Just got my folks tv pad, installed it - no problem - insert the 4gb sd card and start installing all the apps provided. Only noticed got 32 apps and hardly any cantonese one. Couldn't find Yue Hai Cantonese. Read some side need to down load it on my usb memory stick in a zip file or not - still I couldn't get it upgrade or install the cantonese live tv channel. Can you any one help me. I am not the greatest with technology.
Hi all, just wanted to let everyone know that we have released the Recorder app for TVPad here: http://clubtvpad.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=380 . The Recorder app allows you to record a live stream to a network share, USB flashdrive or microSD card. It can also display the URL of the current stream for use with external players. I believe you already got help with this on the clubtvpad forum, if that is not the case let us know.
