No, such app is not available. You can only install apps provided by third parties.

Probably just your side. Did you try other series? I've just tested mine and it's working perfectly.

    M121s 3.14 Firmware

Hello everyone! Just want to let you all know firmware 3.14 is out and it is available on my website. If you are buying from other sellers, make sure you are getting one with this latest firmware. This fixes the remote issue and the system is no longer sluggish when navigating through the menus.

There isn't any news about an upgrade for the older tvpads. Maybe they don't want to give an upgrade anymore for the older models, we will just have to wait and see. It seems that an firmware upgrade package for the latest version will be released soon, then we can see if the older models can upgrade or not.

This question was asked before on this thread, but I didn't really understood the answer. So here is my question. When my parents watch the TV pad, it makes me unable to play games online, especially when they are watching the live streams. What is the best way to fix this?
So I noticed this is because the live stream is similar to a P2P system, and since I have ADSL, I lag when majority of the upload is being used. I was reading a thread where I should throttle the upload speed (on the TVPad?) so it won't use that much bandwidth and I won't lag as much and get better ping. However, I have no idea how to do this.
Here are some info on my current setups
    Connection - Centurylink 7Mbps/896Kbps ADSL
    Primary Modem - Motorala 2247-N8
All systems hooked up via ethernet
    Living in the US.

    Thanks in advance.

Quick noobie question... I couldn't find it on the website... :/

Which power connection does the TVpad come with?

I mean I live in Europe, 220V (connection head with the two rounded pins)

Do I need a separate voltage adapter or something?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi all,

I recently purchased a TVPad M121s with firmware 3.06 installed on it. However, I am having troubles streaming live HK TV (TVB HD, Jade, etc) from 粵海寬頻. When I run it, it will go from 0kb to 2kb and back to 0/1 kb etc until it timeout.

My question is what protocol is the app using to stream? Is it the same as P2P? I actually have no problem streaming from the recorded HK series app. It is only live TV steams that are giving problems.

    Thanks!

To af_mw - I went through the same problem though I found two versions of that same tvpad app. One around 280KB and other being 320KB. The 280KB had like 5 HK channels and it was pretty hard to stream them, whereas the 320KB one had like 12 channels and they all worked fine, as long as you're not downloading or anything that can hinder your connection.

You know what - heres the link to my tvpad channels folder from my dropbox. Just download it all from there. And put into the memory card to install on TvPad. Anyone else is welcome too as well - as long as they're a pa member.

You need to throttle from your router (if it has that option). For example giving IP address x.x.x.x of the TVPad a max upload speed of x Kb/s.

I think you already have your answer, but from the official TVPad site they will send the correct European connector, so no need for adapters.

I have similar issues sometimes, but in my case I believe it's my router. It only happens if I am trying to watch live streams on both my TVPad units at the same time.

It works with some hiccup in once a while, so overall is still a plus though. Let's put it this way, this device exceeded or met my expectation when it programmed to perform. -cool
