A lot of TV channels in hitv app can also be found in the 粵海寬頻 app. What kind of TV channels are you interested in?
I cannot find any apps that streams anything in cantonese... or any of the tvb stuff.. kinda lost here can somebody help... i just recently purchased a brand new tvpad and i believe it is running 3.26 firmware please help...
same here, last night updated my tvpad M121 from 2.72 to 3.26 firmware and lost all the tvb/cantonese channels! ?
You can find the Cantonese channels in the 粵海寬頻 app. 粵海寬頻 app can be find by first installing the following app: 应用搜索器. Install this app and open this app. Then the popular apps (including 粵海寬頻) can be found below the search bar. Click on these chinese words, then press "OK" to download this app. The downloaded app can be found inside the "App Manager" (the third tab named "Others"). Click on this app to install this app.
How do i put apps manually onto my micro sd card? everytime when i plug it into my computer, it asks to format. I dont want to use all the apps i have on the card
Do you have firmware version 3.26, if not download that firmware version first. All the apps can be found in the apps store, no need to put the apps on your micro sd card.
No, but you can use a custom app called VPlayer to achieve this. Only works in firmware 2.72 though. Follow these instructions in case you do not want to upgrade: http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-read-ext3ext4-linux-partition-from-windows-7.html . I wonder though, why do you not put the apps on a USB stick ?
I was just assuming chromosome got the latest firmware version and therefore all the apps can be installed online, but I think chromosome does not have the latest firmware version.
i can't seem to figure out how to use my tvpad as a USB media player. everything i read says it plays back alot of different file formats through usb, but i can't find the functions to allow me to do that. i inserted my usb drive with content on it into the tvpad, i have a check mark on the thumbdrive icon in the bottom right of the screen, but I can't figure out how to access the usb drive or play any of the content on it. can someone help? thanks and happy holidays!
anyone know what wifi usb stick work with the tvpad? the only thing i know is that it has have a RT3070 chipset or something .. someone know if there is a list of models which worked and has been tested that i can choose from?
Netcore NW360 WIFI adapter should work and any other wifi adapters that has RT3070 or RTL8192SU chipset inside. However, I have read and heard that some people has connections problems using a WIFI connection. It's better to use a wired connection.
Do you guys think this is still worth getting right now? If TVB wins their lawsuit, they are probably just going to shut off the jade/TVB channels right?
What is your current firmware running on ur TVPad? For 2.72, you will have something look like this. Choose the following app circled in red, if not. You need that one to play video, and the one next to it with a music note can be used to play music files. Click on it and choose USB...-^_^
There are several other options at the moment (not that popular at the moment and that is a good thing), however nobody can tell how long the other options will work just as the TVpad. It's like with torrent sites, some will be gone and new torrent sites will appear.
Hello everyone, I just upgraded my M-121 to firmware 3.26 and was wondering how many chinese channels are currently available for 3.26?? Are all that is available located in the App store tab or are there more? Does the old 2.72 apps work for the 3.26?? I figure I ask since there seems to be a lot of knowledge about tvpad here. Thanks in advance for any info.
I just upgraded my device as well. From what I can tell there is a bunch of new apps for the device. The only apps that aren't in the app store is the 港粤快看 and the HITV apps. Does anyone know if the new payment module support might mean a monthly fee?
