Great day. Hockey is back on this day, as well as Mega. Edit: For those that are wondering, registering does not work. You can register, but once you log out. You cant log back in. You can even register using the same email address.
I'll start using it when its not longer in beta. So is it true that they lower the space storage to only 50Gig for free users? That kind of sucks, its use to be unlimited of space. I'll have to create mulitple accounts.
hope speeds will be as fast as the old site.was getting speeds similar to the premiums from other sites on a free account
I had a few months of free premium with MU b4 it went... I won't be rushing to it just yet. Wait awhile and see how things goes. But so far it looks pretty good. For those who sign up and testing it, please keep us updated.
Kimdotcom next to be release projects. MegaBox and MegaMovies. No specific date has been release on these two sites yet.
Given the whole legality issue and DOJ stance on MU to begin with, I'm going to sit this one out for at least a few months to see which way it shakes; for all we know, this may all be a sham by Dot.com to get a reduced charge as part of a plea bargain if he would cooperate and set up another site just to sucker people in for cops to nail. Call me paranoid or whatever, but one cannot be too careful nowadays. Besides, there are still plenty of other sites to get free shit, so there's really no loss there.
lol This isn't just a new URL. Yes it provides file sharing service, but that's the only thing that's the same. It's an entirely different company, business model and a completely different service. i.e. The video streaming feature (a.k.a "megapr0n") relies on the fact that videos are hosted on a server and served to you. Mega's new model now implements a cloud infrastructure, where the files aren't on the serves themselves, but the user's. This removes liability from Kim Dotcom and Mega. TL;DR or Layman's terms: It's file sharing, but there's nothing else in common. Except for Kim Dotcom himself.
I'd like to think people know how to pirate stuff through other means. Sites like these are horribly unreliable and slow.
