I once had to study about a case of two XY (male genotype) females caused by a non-functional SRY gene that would have given rise to male development if it was functional. They looked and acted like any other person outwardly. However, the stories of the life experiences of these afflicted people are quite something that makes one ponder about it. It's more or less the opposite of this case in outcome of sex characteristics.

That's a good question. Considering the fact (from the article) that he persistently leaked urine, and had a 'micro-penis' (defined as a penis less than three inches in length when erect) and no scrotum, I doubt that he was fully sexually functional. Moreover, since he was an orphan who (at the time) was born into a war torn country with little in terms of advanced medical resources, I doubt that there was any serious examination.
