The list is really random for list a/b/c. Originally I thought if you get the first one on list a you'll automatically get the first one for list b and c for that type. Hopefully that's understandable. Yeah the gts is stupid, most of the cases anyway. People want stupid offers that is not realistic. They also want pokemon that isn't readily available In the game yet like celebi and even the pokemon that got leaked (the three legendary pokemon that is said to be event pokemon) Also I don't like the trade, you don't know when the person decided what to offer or not and you can't opt out of your offer until they offer one or cancel the trade. They should at least give you an option or notification on the screen
That's sarcasm right? The friend safari is based on type and I don't think the Johto starters are obtainable without trading from bw2 or via events.
Lmao @ cyndaquil. Question, who here is actively in the iv/ev breeding scene? How much of a difference does a 3 iv make over say 1 iv?
Not much of a substantial difference but in terms of hp and speed. It can cost you the game if you were battling the same pokemon. If their speed is higher because of a 1 iv difference then they can faint your pokemon first. Of course, this is keeping the nature constant (timid, naive, hasty and jolly per se for +10% speed and -10% for the relevant stat) I won't bother properly iv breeding until I get a perfect ditto or a ditto in my friend safari as this will reduce the process drastically. Only managed to get 3 perfect iv for my tyranitar and that took me forever lol.
I've got a 3IV adament larvitar wonder traded to me, which is going to replace my current tyranitar lol. One thing that kind of annoys me is that all tyranitar's abilities are kind of detrimental...
You're lucky, it's most likely that the person was IV breeding and decided to be generous. I got one or two that has 3 perfect IV, another has an egg move. Yeah it can be annoying, especially when it kills the Focus Sash and reduce accuracy (I think so anyway) on moves like Hydro Pump. It's useful though if you have Pokemon which has that Sand Rush (I think that's what it is called) ability, Excadrill has it, speed increases.
Try the GTS station, they usually trade for the Y version exclusive. I managed to get pretty much all of the competitive Pokemon Friend Safari, still looking for Togepi/Wartortle/Ivysaur/Smeargle (got this but waiting for the person to come online) safari. Managed to breed 6 competitive Pokemon with 5IV (1 has 6IV; got lucky even though it wasn't necessary) through chains of IV breeding too. Took me about a day each. Oh I Starmie, only one though, which, I evolved. Planning to IV breed it too when I have the time.
