In rural areas, the cost of laying gas or other utility lines to distant or isolated properties is generally cost prohibitive, so most municipalities don't bother with outlying gas, water, sewage or waste disposal lines. Many of these farm homes thus, live "off the grid" and are totally self sufficient by using well water, propane gas tanks (attached to the house and recharged by delivery truck), and septic tanks (pumped out periodically). Electricity is sometimes also generated by private windmills and or solar panels, and then battery banked for usage. As for large animals like deer? Man is their biggest enemy; without being hunted on a large scale, and eating leaves and berries, they would likely do very well in a zombie apocalypse as they're pretty fast.

I was getting to like her, even if she was a tad psychotic, LOL... The comic version has a very similar turn, in which Rick discovered that one boy killed another, saying that he was going to come back and everything will be OK then. I'm also glad that Tyreese was able to reconcile with Carol's prior decision (back at the prison) to kill Karen, and I'm glad too that Carol came clean with him. This is an odd turn of events as it is a major departure from the print series. If anyone recalls, in the comic, Carol and Tyreese both died at the prison; Carol commits suicide by walker after being jealous of Tyreese's affair with Michonne, and Tyreese (instead of Herschel) was decapitated by the governor. So the continued existence of both their characters is "outside the box" insofar as the established story.

So the big question is, who are the tough guys that Darryl hook up with? What happened to Beth? How come Darryl didn't nail her after they got drunk? What is he? Batting lefty? LOL...
Where's all the other characters? Forgive my suspicions, but I think they purposely decided to do these individual stories because the cast is paid by each episode; if they don't appear in an episode, they they won't need to be paid. They're trying to cheap their way out, IMHO.

Probably to develop their characters is one of the reason. Episode 15 US seems like it will show segments of each group and thanks for the info, makes sense about the gas

True that; these closer examinations of smaller groups is something that was missing from the other seasons and it's adding an unpredictable freshness which the show desperately needed. While living in the prison compound is what any group like theirs needs for survival, it would be to the show's detriment. IMHO, these latest "back on the road" intimate viewpoints have re-energized this second half of the season in many new ways, as well as having created better understanding of and for each of their personalities.

S04E15; it is too good to be true...

I immediately felt when they walked into Terminus, with an "innocent" looking woman tending to some household chores, with fresh towels and water to bathe immediately upon arrival; I mean, what is this? A five star hotel? I don't buy it. This Venus Fly Trap entrance was too good to be true. If anything, they should have sent just one or two people in while the rest remained undetected and hidden outside. If after a day or two passes and they come back out freely and alive, then the rest may consider entering too. Or, they risk the sudden realization of what was once said in a very famous movie:

    LOL... SUCKAHS!!!

Interesting take that the gang which Daryl had hooked up with is the same gang that Rick had escaped from in that previous episode; that should make for a happy reunion. I wonder if Daryl even knows that it's Rick who they've been tracking (based on the candy wrapper that Carl dropped on the railroad tracks). I don't know if anyone remembers the Walking Dead story from the game version, but there was a farm in which the hosts were luring, capturing, killing and then eating their guests. Imagine if Maggie, et al, eats and then belatedly discovers that it was Beth (who had been missing) that they had just unknowingly cannibalized? Damn... Daryl STILL should have tapped that when they were drunk in the shack in the woods; I'm still pissed about that, ha ha...

I understand the forgiveness and gratitude angle, but found it nonetheless surprising that Glenn would choose to hide Tara Chambler's true history (how she had assisted the Governor in swaying the opinions of people towards attacking the prison and thereby having a major role in the death of Maggie's father, Herschel). I wonder when that fact eventually comes to light; will that drive a permanent wedge between Maggie and Glenn?

And where's Carol, Tyresse and the baby Judith?

I can't believe that we're already at the end of another season. After next week, we will have to wait until October for another episode? This is why American television sucks royally.

that Mary, was the one in the portrait where Michonne and a Carl had seen in a house full of dead corpse. Google it! Also the sunflowers was on the other portrait, which was heavily focused towards the end of the episode when the gates that says please lower your weapons.

If you watch the New Zealand teaser you would see Gareth, apparently the leader or the hunter. Carl got trapped in the car by someone, perhaps it was joe. Oh talking about him, I like the way how they killed the guy with the bow for lying. Was not expecting that.

Yeah I remember that home, that episode was so dark. They were all creepy people. She was named mary too right. People were speculating that the meat on the barbecue stove is indeed Beth. Would be dark if it was true.

Indeed, I did Google it and found this page, loaded with possible spoilers:

    http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/583...-7-things-to-know-includes-possible-spoilers/

I hadn't realized the portrait of Mary and the Corpse House connection until you mentioned it. I was already suspicious of the place, and now, knowing about that portrait (I looked at it and got a chill), I probably would have shot Mary on sight, LOL... But seriously, I wonder why, given all the roaming marauders and undead, there ain't any guards or lookouts at Terminus? That seems rather odd.

I think one of the interesting speculations are the sunflowers. It was heavily focused upon opening the gates. Referring to death. "Just look at the flowers"...

Right you are, but given that the season ending usually means someone major dies...

...Beth was killed. IMHO, she's the best looking girl on the whole show right now. If Rick or Carl got axed I wouldn't be as upset, LOL...

Yeah apparently there'll be a big death.

Check this out. Potential spoiler alert

Dammit, got there too late; the page was already taken down, LOL... But, here's another spoiler filled prognostication; Beth is still alive in this one (Yah!): http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/586...ions-a-complete-episode-16-prediction-videos/

I was almost hoaxed by this one, in which actress Emily Kinney (who plays Beth Greene), in outtakes from another film, was performing another role and her character was killed: http://comicbook.com/blog/2014/03/25/the-walking-dead-are-these-beth-greene-death-photos/

Man, oh man... What an ending for Season 4. Also:

    ...BETH! Dammit...

Still no news about her. I was not surprised at all that Terminus termed out to be a cannibal trap, with butchered body parts scattered all over the place. They were being corralled as food or else they would have been shot. Like I had stated earlier, they should have sent in only one person while the rest waited under cover outside. Despite Rick's closing scene bravado, now it seems that Gareth is the new Governor and they're all locked together within his walk-in refrigerator.

Also, I don't understand how they were able to overcome that road gang; Michionne should not have been able to take that guy's gun so quickly, nor would a head butt have some completely incapacitated that gang leader. Also, the gang leader would not have allowed Rick to get back so close; he would have shot him. I know I would have if I were in his place. It's like these well seasoned (they've been surviving for as long as Rick) rough and ready gangster zombie killers suddenly became cream puffs so that Rick et al, could rise to the occasion and prevail over them. Also, it's the middle of the night; how was it that they remained in a circle of light even after Rick stomped out the fire? And given that twigs in the middle of the night don't snap themselves; why didn't Rick get up and investigate the noise instead of going back to their conversation?

But, still no news on Beth <sob>
Now we have to wait another half year before Season 5 starts. Shit... Well, at least Game of Thrones is right around the corner.
