Anyone know a good website that translates English to Cantonese (with pronounciation)? Or Chinese to Cantonese? I did a google translate of sores and I get 疮 but I wasn't sure if this word is the Cantonese word "shuen" Taking grandpa to the doctor and need to tell the doctor 'shuen' in his legs. Is that sores? Thanks
Joint stiffness causing aches and pain are common old age problems. Doctor should pick up the problem fairly easily even if there is a bit of language issue.
瘡 is pronounced as chong in Cantonese. I believe your grandpa's leg pain is 坐骨神經痛. I google translated it and it turns out to be Sciatica. That seems right to me. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oq9ajm-22ao
I've been using this online canto dictionary for years now. You can type in the English or Chinese and get the translation. It also shows how to pronounce it. It has both single characters and phrases. Hope this helps. http://www.cantonese.sheik.co.uk/scripts/wordsearch.php?level=0
I bet the doctor knows how to speak English. Ask the doctor if it's okay for your grandpa to use a leg massager. Those devices really help!
thank you all for the help translating. I'm sure the doc does, but, my grandpa doesn't. He tells me in Cantonese, I don't know what's "shuen" (shuen tong) in English. I know "tong" = pain. lol .. I'm zero to none medical terminology; just got to translate types of pain to doc.
I think he's saying 酸痛 (shuen tong). It just means pain. He might be trying to say 肌肉酸痛 which means muscle pain (gay yok shuen tong). lol, I said gay.
Not sure if I'm late to this post, probably am lol. but anyways, I use this website https://tradukka.com/translate/yue it can help with translation and pronunciation and vice versa
Thanks. I can understand some Cantonese, but totally cannot read or write Chinese. Thank you for verifying that. Good resource. Thank you.
Frankly tried the Astronaut-style crash game by accident and it absolutely hooked me, link https://crushtop.org . The concept feels simple: the astronaut moves forward while a number grows, and you must stop prior to the explosion. Higher volatility equals larger profit, so control feels everything. Initially I played low, mostly to understand this mechanic, but in several games I already realized a rhythm. The excitement feels intense each moment, especially as that number starts rising. The interface is simple, nothing important confuses, and the whole game loads fast. I also tried from my phone and the game ran great. Cashouts seemed quick, which is important personally. I personally did not see anything suspicious at all. Overall, this Astronaut crash game feels addictive. When you like high-risk casino games, this is worth trying. Just keep in mind: play with control.
