Franchises are expected to maintain certain company standard items, though there can be regional novelty items not found on the menu elsewhere. One example would be HK's McDonald's offering a serving of Soy Sauce Chicken Wings, which wouldn't be expected to sell anywhere else except in the far east. Don't know what kind of Chicken Wings this girl was supposedly eating, whether it was the Colonel's recipe or a local addition to the menu. Either way, it really didn't matter. The girl was emotionally crippled and she used the establishment as an erstwhile crutch.
