Because of the BOTS and other programs being used, NIKE had cancelled many of it's up coming high demanding shoes because of it and are trying new ways to fight back. That only made it harder to get and added my hype to it. Resellers couldn't be helper, Retail price $160, resellers were selling it for 500+ before and after. It's the same at footlockers/footactions etc. They have the same problem as well. I recently tried to buy the Chicago 1's on FTL and it was gone in a sec. You might be right -innocent2 Thanks, but are you located in the USA or HK, I'm not familiar with other places outside my area, I know NIKE HK has a site but I can't find the link to those shoes yet. Not sure if you need to call them up if they are available on release date. I know for a fact that they are eating sizes 8-9 in China. A lot of the buying from ebay and causing the price to high rocket are from mainland. Eating it all up.

I never did understand the hype for them Nike Jordan's. Anyone can explain the hype and reason for people to buy every season?
Certain Jordan sneaker are really popular, Nike have been remastering some of the OG color ways and look. With the new social medias these days and the way it's being marketed, also being limited. The hype is through the root, the red, white and black (chicago) jordan 1's was extremely popular even before it's release. That crazy hype even force Nike to cancel it's release on their site. They had to come up with a new system to battle bots so no one person can buy a whole lot and screwing everyone else from buying a pair. System is still being tested.
