Probably, the chinese/viet community seems big but is actually quite small...everyone knows each other from somewhere....or its like oh you're so and so's whoever....etc etc....

Yeah, wouldn't be surprising. Just last week my mom was a party, and they were like, OH you were the owner of that shop?! I used to live a few buildings down.

:sleeping2: Just got up... Starving... Went to the fridge; scarfed up a bowl of leftover Tortellini Marinara, with a piece of Cheese Bread, all washed down with a cup of instant Black Coffee. Wow... I can see again! LOL... :p

Went to a Flushing eatery called O Crab, a Korean run place that claims Louisiana Cajun Style Seafood. The food is not bad, except everything seems to have a way of blending together because of the way it's cooked and served. If anyone ever had Bouillabaisse, where everything is thrown into the same pot, you'll get what I mean. We had the $80 "O Combo" (Crab Legs, Lobster, Sausage, Shrimp), which is probably their most expensive item, and then a pound each of Crawfish, Clams, and Squid, with some Fried Calamari as an appetizer. All of the above (except for the appetizer) is served with a small piece of corn and a quarter chunk of potato mixed in. Each entree item is given a choice of five different sauces that it can be cooked in; we tried all of them but I personally think the Garlic Butter is the best of all.

The missus didn't care for the Crawfish, which I liked; and I didn't like the Clams (Cherrystone soup clams served as entree) which my boys liked. We all didn't like the Squid. The O Combo on the other hand, had everyone jockeying for position, it was tremendous. That combination platter is generally enough to eat for two or three people.

They also give you vinyl food service gloves and asked if we needed bibs (which we declined). The table was set with two shell disposal buckets and they were rotated with fresh ones as soon as the attentive staff noticed their becoming full.

During our visit there, we noted that a product photography session was going on; they were taking pictures of Ribs and Chicken dishes, that is, items that are not yet on the menu. So I guess they're looking to expand their selection. Their decor is rather spartan and pretty dark, and their hours service dinner only. I wish they would have offered up some sort of Grits, as that is relatively easy to make and is decidedly southern and especially Louisiana.

Parking is street, metered and there appears to be very limited parking in the back alley behind the strip of stores, which includes O Crab. Dress is casual, and they're family and children friendly. Their menu is also available for online ordering and local delivery.

At any rate, the service was friendly, strikingly polite and attentive without being overbearing. I would give the place 4/5 Stars overall, and would look forward to returning there to eat.
