The first episode of TVB’s new crime series The Fixer <拆局專家> aired to positive reviews last evening. In the supposedly action-packed drama, many viewers were surprised and did not expect to see a romantic bath scene in which Mandy Wong (黃智雯) and Chin Ka Lok (錢嘉樂) share a passionate kiss in a bathtub full of rose petals. In a scene near the latter half of the first episode, Mandy suddenly walks into the bathroom in her bathrobe and begins to undress, while Ka Lok is enjoying a rose petal bath. She soon joins him in the bathtub where they hugged and chatted intimately. The scene speaks of how Mandy is enraged at her mother for publicly announcing on television that she is looking for a son-in-law for $800 million HKD. However, Ka Lok treats the situation as a joke, and Mandy is determined to punish him for making fun of things. She even says, “I don’t want to punish you financially. I want to punish your body.” Mandy then initiates an intense kiss with Ka Lok. Many netizens were quick to compliment the artistes for their natural acting skills. One netizen remarked it was surprising to see Ka Lok go all-out in a romantic scene. On the other hand, netizens praised Mandy, who frequently received tomboyish roles in the past, for her ability to exhibit a sexy aura when needed. Same ~ If i'm watching the tvb series, I really need to sit down and concentrate on it otherwise I won't get the storyline lol and i have to rewatch... I see random bits and bobs when my mum watches her drama but I don't get into it yet, my mum's more updated than me, she's asking me have I watched this or that yet ~
Pretty much yeah, went from watching them all the time to just downloading for my mom. They start feeling just reruns of the typical she like him, but he likes the other. Then the other gets jelly and then likes her. And she likes her but then likes him back. Then she hates him. EvilTofu Young Charioteers?
I think I made a comment somewhere on DA about the sexy bath time scene too Mandy looks great in this series. For the past year or two, she's been getting shitty roles. This could be the drama to prove herself.
I go back and forth between HK dramas and American, especially now that there's HKTV to watch so many good HK drama's to watch. Last one I watched was Officer Geomancer, but I'm bouncing around on TVB dramas lately. Was going to watch Madam Cutie next but may watch this instead...although I hate chasing unless it's a real good drama. Line Walker was the last TVB drama that I actually chased.
