A reboot of the popular 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is reportedly in the works. According to TVLine, original series' lead Will Smith is spearheading the project, where he will serve as executive producer via his production company, Overbrook Entertainment, alongside James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett and Jada Pinkett-Smith. The show is reportedly in the early stages of development, and will provide a modern-day take on the show that skyrocketed Smith's acting career, but still retain the spirit of the original show. I think our generation pretty much grew up on this. Which I find kind of pointless, they are rebooting so many of our old time classics. Like it's a bit of lacking chong yee.
Everything old is new again... So many shows are talking about rebooting some of our favorite classics...what's the point, it's not going to be the same. Older fans aren't going to care about it, younger kids might not care for it either...
Fuller House yeah? Girls Meets World... Reboot of Reboot. Sailor Moon Crystall (Phoenix) if you count that. =/ The Transporter movies series (okay maybe i should stick with TV shows) Wut? Charmed too?
Hollywood is running out of ideas is what it is, especially the good ol fashion sitcoms, yeah I think I've seen 90% of this show, was def great and funny. Would be interesting to see how this one does. I always did love the black comedies growing up, FH wasn't bad and Family Matters was great.
What's with Hollywood? No more creativity, and definitely not originality. Every other damn movie is about Marvel superheros and now all they can muster up is reboot of old TV sitcoms?? lame!!

WTF, they actually remaking Big Trouble in Little China. That was one of my favorite movies back than. This and Goonies...lol watched a lot when it was reaired on TV. They had to mess it up with bad remakes...
Yeah~ Dwayne Johnson is in negotiations at the moment~ he's looking to direct as well as star in the film~ I am interested in how it will turn out though You know the goonies~ the deformed one? He used to scare me lol and then i watched the hills have eyes ~ I couldn't sleep for a while after that
