friend of mine have problem with live streaming of the tvb on his tvpad 3 club tvpad is down at this moment. i wonder if it has to do with popularasian........
I can almost guarantee you that TVPad has NOTHING to do with popularasian.. It's probably that their servers are down.

Hello, I have TVPad1 and have the option to upgrade it to TVPad4. I don't mind the upgrade but if I don't know how to read chinese how do I install the proper apps for the TVB Shows? It is for my parents and getting them to explain what it say will take a very long time to understand. I assume buying the TVPad from http://en.mtvpad.com/index.html does not have the pre-loaded apps like you would have buying in from a chinese retail store. Any information or help is appreciated. Thank you
It's pretty simple the set up. Simply connect it to the TV and WiFi/Ethernet, follow the on screen guide. Once you're on the home page, there's the "+" symbol or left side is the App Store. Here's a screenshot of the app you should install, the 1st one (top left). HKTV is self explanatory, for streaming HKTV drama and shows. The other 3 is for streaming TV channels if I remember correctly. But the 1st app is what you really want for streaming any TVB related shows. [image is from slickdeals]

Yea GeneraznXz, it's quite easy to use and install apps to ... as long as you know which app icons you're looking for, you'll be fine. The ones that runtohell has in the screenshot will get you sorted for direct streaming and the pre-recorded schedule
I just received my TVPAd4 and I am unable to find an app that I have on my TVPAd2. This is the app we used to access all our TVB shows and can choose them by episodes. Anyone have a TVPad4 that can confirm if there is another app that does what the above does? Thank you.

H! Not sure where I can download it nor how to access the USB from the TVPad4. The 4th one is so different from others from accessing USB devices. Jeff I went to that site too but it says only compatible with tvpad2 and 3. Then again I am trying with TVpad1 package but as stated above I can't access the USB drive. I wish there were a english forum that more people have the device. Thank you for answering

Jeff Thank you again for your response. I think that only applies to TVPad3. I just tried it and the usb doesn't detect any launcher but the files is on the root of the usb already.
Did you buy your device in person or in store? If you bought it in person, you could try taking your device there and get them to install it for you.
Jeff Sadly I went with the promotional offer from the actual website for the TVPad1. I got it from this site: http://en.mtvpad.com/index.html I think I would need to ask around in stores if anyone have the fix and if I can just purchase the package from them.
