Missed out on the pickup. Any bluejay starter other than Hutchison seem like a good pickup right now. But Kluber was dealing today too, 1ER in 9 innings complete game! Gave me that extra point. From 1-18 to 6-13 right now. I'm practically losing in all batter stats but winning in all pitching stats.

He did pitch well esp for a low score game and against someone like Tanaka. But he had his struggles in the 4th where he walked 2, but got the double play.

Then Gibby made the right call to pull his in the 7th after giving up a walk and hit.

The two highest scoring team in MLB, Jay outscored 10 - 1. Home runs 6 - 1. Yanks scoreless since the 2nd inning of game 1.
First sweep since 2002 when it was a 4 game sweep. And first three game sweep since 1998.

We've been shit for too many years. We traded away the farm for these acquisition. It better be worth it.

Another series against the Yanks this week. TICKETS ALREADY SOLD OUT

A lot of it rides on AA's job. If they didnt make it without the trades. he would lose his job as GM. And also doesn't help knowing Jays is getting new owner end of year.

He made trades that made him look smart for the current season. The farm guys, who knows. They may be promising, but it will still take a few years for them to get to form. A lot of the all stars, look at Melky. His first couple years were trash. Then once he came to Tigers, he got more and more productive. Another thing is, Toronto's payroll, even with these expensive players, still leaves a lot of space for the Jays to spend. We have a LOT of money still.

Price said "playing in Toronto, it's not playing for a city, it's playing for a nation"

Even playing in Toronto in any sport, you always have a microscope on you. Whether you play good or shit, they're amplified. Those are the pros and cons about playing Toronto. When they're good, you have the biggest supporter. When they're shit, endless trashtalks.

If you take a look at the crowd when Jays are playing away from Rogers Centre, there are always a crowd of Jays fan. Especially in Seattle, it's like a home game there

It's been hard to organize fantasy/watch TVB after starting work.

    :cry2:

Happy to join if someone else commishes lol.

P.S. Jays are gonna take the AL East easy. Meanwhile, Dodgers continue to slide and their bullpen blows. Still can't believe you guys got Tulowitzki. That's mental. Jays Royals series would be all the hype!

I will commish if it's the worst case scenario, but rather than starting our own league I'll see if you can join the ones I'm in at the moment with my friends, next year that is. We only have 6 right now for baseball, so having 8 will be better. Do you want to join our hockey one too? As long as you're active, then they SHOULD be fine.

Stroman cleared for pitching. He'll probably return to the pen.. our starters are doing fine (except Hutchison). How Hutchison is 10-2 with an ERA of 5.42 is beyond me. He is good at home, but complete opposite when away . ERA of 2.69 at home in 11 games, and ERA of 9.00 on the road in 11 games.

Well Hutchison gets a lot of lucky breaks where, he throws like shit but the offsense makes up for it. I had the same reaction. woahhh he's 10 - 2! then look at the stats and its no where near the w/l record.

even the past yankees game. All i heard were Jays fans.

  12. first post on Da? :kenn:

9th straight baby! Hutchison always great at home, proved it again tonight. Just don't start him on the road

Missed the first few innings, including this catch.

    And we are first!

First team to have two 10 win streaks in a season since 1970s.

Goins was the last person I expected to hit that 3-run homer. Pretty big homer in the 2nd inning considering it was the only innings where Jays scored..

Toronto Blue Jays ‏@BlueJays 2h2 hours ago
@BlueJays starters have allowed 3ER or less in 16 straight, longest streak since a club record 18 consecutive outings from 5/5-25/91

Starting pitching has been great, and with great offense, pretty hard to stop. Could've been possible if Gray started today, but he sat

    Onto the Yanks! Sellout series!

0.91 era of the bullpen since the allstar, top of the league.

Pretty crazy since Jays have given up almost 500 runs, where as Cards are sitting at 300 top of the league. If we do make it that far, it's likely they will be the NLCS champs/

Dam those Yanks indeed. Cant win them all

Fucking Sanchez man. If he has a history of letting those inherited runners score, why do we still let him go out on the mound

Tulo almost made it close though, crazy at bat :kelefe:
