> Tvpad 3 and 4 has been offline for the last 2 days. The website is also gone. Anyone know why? Still cant watch the tvb catchup in the uk anyone else have this problem? Thanks
^ The only source is that hollywood reporter site: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/korean-networks-win-65-million-821885 any other sources stating their getting sued? last time this happened it eventually came back... not sure this time
When you say it still works as in watching the tvb drama series? I tried my Tvpad2 yesterday and it say user does not exist.
I changed the DNS to manual setting 110.34.169.179 on tvpad 3 and it's working now in USA. Still no luck on tvpad 4. Customer support said they are working to fix it. Here is the DNS for your region... US District DNS: 23.234.51.175 or 110.34.169.179 other areas DNS: 199.231.210.236 or 146.0.227.36 Change the DNS and press OK. Go back to home screen and restart your tvpad. Good luck!
Not sure how "correct" is this post.. but here is the status so far for TVPad http://tvpadtalk.com/3/2/current_tvpad_outage_status_-_oct-25-2015___ongoing
you guys are all in luck. my tvpad was working fine until my parents one didnt work and they tried to updated the firmware which doesnt update and they turn off the power when updating which got the tvpad to a network error loop i try to search on the net for a answer but find nothing until i contact the seller and the site she gave me is very useful and tvpad is working fine now http://trendmaxaus.com/market/search.html?search[keywords]=tvpad+firmware&_a=category download and follow the instructions
Thank you for your information! I successfully updated the firmware and install the apps. Now just the matter of getting it to work. Auto detect connection is fine but it doesn't play, maybe it is telling me some network problem? I tried the 146 DNS and it did not work as well. If you don't mind, how is yours set up, what do you have for your DNS or is it auto? This is the error on auto:
Try changing the DNS to one of these and see if it will work... 192.231.210.236 146.0.227.36 23.234.51.175 110.34.169.179 49.213.10.163 183.57.43.70
my parents have one and it's sluggish and buggy I was planning to build them a raspberry pi, does anyone know how or what I can add to have TVB stuff on there?
The only thing I know about a raspberry pi is installing Kodi and navigate it to a NAS drive with all the downloaded contents. If your parents know how to use a PC, you might as well get something like a Intel NUC for your tv and install the chinese streaming apps for them. I get my parents TVPad because its not as complicated to navigate and use.
