Tracy Chu (朱千雪) has been receiving attention for her appearances on the campus of The Chinese University of Hong Kong recently. Many college students snapped photos of the 27-year-old walking around campus and studying in the library. At a promotional event for TVB’s Pearl channel, Tracy confirmed that she is now back in school, and is enrolled in a one-year masters program as a full-time student at CUHK. School started in September. Many of her classmates had asked for her photo and signature. “A lot of them thought I was filming a drama on campus,” she said. The actress said she will also be working part-time, as she has signed up to make a few guest appearances in various dramas next year. Tracy, who made her debut through the 2012 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, is TVB’s Most Improved Actress of the year. She won Most Improved TVB Artist at Singapore’s StarHub TVB Awards, Most Improved TVB Actress at the TVB Star Awards Malaysia, and is a hot favorite to win Most Improved Actress again at the upcoming TVB Anniversary Awards. Facing competition with other rising actresses such as Grace Chan (陳凱琳) and Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), is Tracy afraid that her education will impede her career advancements? She's obviously had lots of opportunities w/ TVB. But enrolling in school again is actually a challenge; especially her being a celebrity, it's actually magnified further. Kind of weird that she went back to school now w/ the Sisley thing going on. Regardless, it's a great move by her.

All those guys better have some money to take her out. She looks cute with that little makeup on. TVB lacks main leads now, so she should try to get those opportunities .
Indeed. But contrary to what Choi did, she's going about it in the right way and people will respect that even more so. Additionally, getting a masters in HK is qualitatively harder than going to a place like the Philippines.
