Haha geez, although when did this statue start going up? You would have thought the critics would have commented on it before the statue was practically all done as it looks by the image, something that big shouldn't have gone unnoticed for that long...even if it was covered up. Got to love the person too who funded this, didn't know you could own a hospital haha geez I would hate to be a patient in China for medical services.
Oh ! So big ! Even bigger the tian tan buddha. People are very crazy sometimes. When I read this I'm just happy people who built it and removed it had a job doing this.
Yippee... Real serious WORLD NEWS; ...not. But, having said that, this giant Mao statue glorifying the "Great Helmsman" in this region of China is akin to building a golden statue of Adolf Hitler in Israel. Those that understand Chinese history will instantly know what I'm talking about. Those that don't? Read your history. You're only as Chinese as you want to be.
