Really? where you from? Some 'high end' cafes and even hotels do afternoon teas. Plus 'fancy' restaurants too... I'm going again this weekend but it's a asian fusion style so dim sum + desserts
So lucky ! I live in a place where people prefer coffee and where the english isn't very good, can you guess ? Here are place for high tea but not many and if we want a good one we must go to a luxurious place. And for the asian fusion style I don't know any place like this here. Wait for your photos
hmm... America? LOL but I'm guessing you have good weather though but like you can always do your own afternoon tea with your friends, everyone can bring something along and you can have a picnic
LOL I mean real coffee not something with a lot of water... and I'm only 2 hours from you so the weather isn't really better Good idea but not outside My friends will kill me if I invite them in my garden by 6 degrees outside

What is the price for that nice high tea Phoenix ? Knowing it's you are in the UK, there are quite a lot of these places, so prices varies.
EvilTofu The place we went to was called Fortnum & Masons ~ they have different menus and lots of tea selections of course so the price varies from £44-£50 per person. Not to mention they have other wines and champagnes that you can order on top so personal preference. Our bill came up to about roughly £112 (plus service charge etc)
LOL yup, thats why its a once in a while thing, plus other places do it for cheaper so just depends on the venue ~ If you ever come down to London, I'll treat you there's also a gentlemen's afternoon tea too if ya interested so yeh ~
