On Sunday, actors Sonija Kwok (郭羨妮), David Siu (邵仲衡), Deep Ng (吳浩康), and more attended the initiation ceremony for the RTHK drama series Privacy Beyond Price <私隱何價II>. The show is Sonija’s first Hong Kong drama series since leaving TVB in 2015. With summer break upon us, Sonija said she plans to take her family to a vacation. “After my husband is finished with his drama, I’ll take him and our daughter on vacation. The summer is hot, so I’m thinking of going to a place with sunny beaches.” There has been a rumor circulating around that Sonija and her husband, Zhu Shaojie (朱少杰), want to chase for a son. Sonia said, “When it comes to having another child, I’m going to let nature take its course. Then again, I would like to have a son.” Due to different career focuses, Sonija and Shaojie are often separated. Sonija admitted that it’s been nearly three months since she’s last seen her husband. However, Sonija believes that the long distance is a positive aspect to their relationship, “We get really happy whenever we see each other,” she said. “We WeChat every single day,” explained Sonija. “Instead of me checking on him, it’s him checking on me!” Asking if she’s worried that her husband would cheat, Sonija said, “Not at all. He’s given me the confidence to trust him. He sets my mind to rest. Besides, he’s always the one who’s trying to find me! More often than not, I am the one who ends up ignoring him.” Sonija added, “Because we’re often separated, we cherish our time together whenever we meet.
