It wasn’t exactly a legitimate kissing scene, but Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) did end up kissing Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) seven times. A few nights ago, the two TVB stars were in the streets of Chai Wan to film a scene for their latest drama, The Time of Tung Yan <棟仁的時光>. In the show Natalie, who plays an emergency medical technical, gives Benjamin CPR after he drops to the ground, unconscious. The scene was going well until a cockroach crawled past Benjamin’s ear, which caused Natalie to scream. In the end, Natalie had to do the same scene seven times. Natalie said in a later interview, “The cockroach actually crawled past his face and I thought it would get into his ear, so I yelled! I do have a fear of cockroaches and snakes!” “I got even more scared after seeing Natalie’s intense reaction,” said Benjamin. Asking if he felt “lucky” that Natalie was giving him CPR, he said, “CPR is nothing to feel glamorous about. It’s a lot of work, because I also have to give my reaction to it.” Natalie had washed her mouth thoroughly before giving Benjamin the big kiss, which was something that Benjamin didn’t do. “But I did brush my teeth before going to work, so she probably thinks I taste fresh!” Having played a couple in last year’s Speed of Life <鐵馬戰車>, Benjamin and Natalie have already filmed a kissing scene before. How does it feel to receive CPR from Natalie? “I feel warm!” Benjamin said with a laugh.
