Is one of Hong Kong's golden couples on the verge of breaking up?

Andy Hui and Sammi Cheng's epic romance spanning nearly three decades may soon come to an end after he was caught cheating on her in a viral video clip.

In the video, the 51-year-old singer-actor is seen cosying up in the back seat of a vehicle with TVB actress Jacqueline Wong, 30.

Dashcam footage shows the pair travelling home with an unnamed male friend.

Right after their friend got out of the car, Andy and Jacqueline clasped their hands together and told the driver their next destination: her home.

The actress is later seen taking off her mask and leaning over to kiss and hug Andy throughout the rest of the journey.

The footage is believed to be filmed on April 3, as the pair are wearing the same clothes when they attended the birthday celebrations of a mutual friend.

Married for five years, Andy and Sammi have mostly kept a low profile on their relationship.

A quick check on Instagram revealed an interesting sight -- you're more likely to see Jacqueline on Andy's feed than his own wife.

On social media, there were signs of a budding relationship between the two -- or at least admiration on Jacqueline's part. Andy has appeared in a number of her IG snaps in recent months. He also celebrated her 30th birthday on Jan 23.

Andy, however, was careful to maintain his distance from Jacqueline whenever they appeared in public view, a source close to the singer-actor told Apple Daily Hong Kong.

To add to the controversy, this is a case of double cheating -- the actress has been dating fellow TVB actor Kenneth Ma with marriage in mind since 2017.

All the parties involved have yet to address media queries, according to Hong Kong reports, but Andy will be holding a press conference at 7pm today.

How will this love 'square' end?

Kenneth and Sammi. Especially Kenneth seems like he was trying to date for a while.

Disappointed in both, but especially Jaq Wong. TVB been pushing her and it seemed like she had a good image. Now her image is in the trash and likely is frozen by TVB for a long while.

Is Jaq going to make a statement or what? But we all know it's just "sorry I got caught" type of shit.

    Edit:

I also got to add in.. how stupid are them. Like if you're gonna cheat, do it privately or someshit. Why would you be in a public place or using public transportation.

Like.. I can see the argument how it's their privacy. I do recall earlier this year, players of the Ottawa Senators was using an uber and they were talking shit about their coach and management. The driver, of course, made that shit public. The driver got tons of shit for it, but ofc so did the players.

There's discussion of privacy. But I heard from a friend the taxi driver sold the clip for a pretty amount of $.

    Never shit where you eat.
What were these two thinking? How f@#k!ng stupid are they.
They can now both kiss good bye to their careers.

Thanks to these two, the bastard HK taxi driver netted $400000 HKD from selling the clip to HK Apple Daily.

while i agree for the most part this is a privacy issue but these two if they wanted to cheat, they should've known better than to blatantly do this in public eyes. Not going to comment about whether or not the driver will get sued or not as I am not familiar with privacy laws in the HK.

However I don't really know if their careers are quite considered over. Jaq will be frozen for sure but didn't Queenie Chu get caught in a cheating scandal before? And I'd like to think in a conservative Chinese society, Andy's issue will be swept under a rug in no time while Jaq will be criticized more heavily in the long run.

Looked like Jacqueline can't wait till they get to the hotel / motel / her place. Maybe she can play victim in her press conference - "I'm sick - I have daddy issues; the older the better. I'll be going into rehab, I hope everyone can forgive me and give me an opportunity to heal."
    Then add some :cry2:

My friend also sent me some photoshopped pics of Kenneth Ma taxi driving too haha. Too damn soon.

If suing, I wonder if it's the driver or the reporter, possibly even both.

But I agree with your second statement. Andy will be fine probably, as in people will bring it up but it won't affect his career. Meanwhile for Jaq it's a very damaging image.

I think this is staged!! Like you I'm not too sure on HK law (based in the UK/US), but I reckon the pair of them arent stupid enough to not know taxi's have cams in them, I also dont understand how a taxi driver doesnt know enough about the privacy acts to keep himself to himself.. but instead go straight to selling the clip??? I mean the driver not only needs to know of the pair, know where to sell, and where does the 400000HKD value come from??

End of the day they did wrong, and shouldnt have done it in the public domain!! However, does anyone know if either are happy in their respective relationships? If the two we are talking about arent "stars" would our reaction be there same? Their personal life should be left personal tbh.

I actually believe Jac knew exactly what she was doing, and got the story purchased to boost her profile!! End of the day, ANY publicity is GOOD for a "star"!! Click makes money...

Kenneth Ma's interview with the HK media today. I thought he handled the situation exceptionally well with class (Y).

TVB (N) how low can you be for trying to interview KM mother. Leave the parents out of this.

yeah. HEr as well on equal levels. Kenneth just doesn't seem to get the right person to fall in love with. You could tell Kenneth is in LOVE with her. He even defended her. Dude is real class based on his appearance on cameras.

Hey thanks shino. Glad to be back!

just me assuming some privacy laws in HK could be similar to that of the US. The taxi driver COULD be held liable if he used the clip purely for financial gains as Jaq/Andy were not aware of a camera. In this case I do not think the taxi driver could use "driver safety" to get away. HK also has freedom of press so I do not think the reporter would be liable.

I don't think you can claim privacy in a public setting - as in public transportation on a public street.
I believe there was a case in US where this couple sued a person living in an apartment across the street from a public park where they had sex. That person captured the act on camera and sold / shared / gave to reporters / friends / police (cannot remember which). If memory is right, the couple lost the suit; and the judge said one cannot assume privacy in a public setting (public park).
Plus, if the taxi driver just has a simple sticker on his cab or if the camera has always been there, I don't think the driver is obligated to verbally inform the passengers.
