try clearing the cache every time before using the app. it might work. but again, only if u r desperate to use and no other choice.

Guys, any apps to recommend for movies and series? Doesn’t matter english or chinese as long as stable and not laggy, this lockdown is getting serious in my country and both of my favorite most reliable apps (新快视频 and tv影院）has suddenly became super laggy recently
Every apps are laggy for u lol. 新快视频 is one of the smoothest app around. Faster than most paid apps. Laggy is on your side.

Mine worked like a charm all these while and I rely highly on this app everyday, but somehow for the past 2 days movies kept buffering for no reason. On top of that, regardless it’s regional issues which I am unaware about I’ve tested it on 4 different tv’s of mine with different wifi providers still same problem, so definitely not connection or tv issue, maybe regional or server congestion for my guess

For some reason a lot of the TVB channels seem to have disappeared or are no longer viewable. Those channels can still be selected but has a message on the screen stating (paraphrasing the Google translation): “Please forgive the inconvenience due to a system upgrade.” Does anyone know if this is because there is a system-wide upgrade happening for the TVB channels? I’m especially sad because I’m not to be able to watch the TVB Asian Acton (功夫台) channel. In the past my backup was to use the TVBAnywhere app to follow some of the shows on that channel in preview mode but they’ve upgraded that app now which is called TVBAnywhere+. I downloaded that new app and it’s not bad as it has a lot of free VOD shows and dramas that were not available in the original app. It’s available in the Google Play Store if you’re looking to catch up on some of the shows from the past. For app 2) above, it looks like there is a version 1.6.5, but for some reason after downloading the update it doesn’t allow me to update it saying that I have the app already installed. I am assuming I need to delete the old version of the app before installing the new version, but can’t do it with the option presented to me.
