read in the papers today..... this film is getting great reviews.. they dubbing it as "the best bond film ever" thats saying alot... since there has been so many bond films over the years.
ive always seem 2 hav this feelin how we brits like bond - the americans like Mission Impossible...but it is the americans hu r tryin 2 copy some of the ideas of the british...which just makes me feel a bit let down when i see some american movies - that are like spy-sort...any1 agree? cos there will NEVER b a spy movie that gets as good as any of the bond films...opinions on this matter?
was this movie actually good? It had alot of mixed reviews, i think you must either hate it or love it. and i think something craig plays james bond.
007 is back! New Bond movie is very good! They've really taken 007 in a new direction: They've striped out a lot of the silliness and made it harder, edgier and deadly! It works! The bad reviews are mostly ones before the movie came out. There was originally a lot of criticism about the choice of actor who would be the new bond (Daniel Craig) and an active campaign to pressure the film franchise to change their decision, spewing lies about how crap the filming of the new bond was, etc. However, since 'Casino Royale' aired, it's been positive reviews+++!!!! Daniel Craig plays the new bond with a killer instinct. Unlike previous bonds, you are left in no doubt that he's a special forces operative who is sent out to hunt and destroy enemies of the state - quick, clean & professional! Eva Green who plays the main Bond Girl is exceptional: smart, beautiful, sexy. She's able to stand up to Bond without being too competitive. She complements him, which shows some top acting ability. OK, she's got that dark goth eye make-up thing, but apart from that, perfect. Finally, Aston Martin DBS...!!!! Only two questions: When does it go on sale for the public and who do I make the cheque payable to? -cool
For me i think Daniel Craig doesnt fit as the new bond because he seems more like some commando when i feel Bond should be someone who has much more Class in them =p
this bond movie is one of the better ones...toned down on cheesy dialogues and the action is more physical than gadget action....recommended greatly...
Waste my money watching Casino Royale... For those of you who have not visited spend your money in Cinema to watch the movie, I would like to share with you my 2 cents inputs so that you won't regret like what I have gone through, spending $$ buying the tickets... 1) James Bond in Casino Royale do not utilize any cool gadgets... sucks! 2) James Bond in Casino Royale is so clumsy, like BIG potatoe... and always get himself injured 3) The Bond girls in Casino Royale is alright, but still lack of umph...! In summary, not worth the $ spend... sob!
