I bought a Playstation 3 from HK. Can I play a Playstation 3 game fron another country like AUSTRIA or GERMANY????

yeh, you can play any region games apparently...but i heard some technical difficulties with the europe version

 

that's not surprising...there's alway problems with sony new realeased products

 

Apparently you can not only play any region PS3 games but it's backwards compatible with PS2 and PS games of any region too!!
Word is that the blu-ray laser is suffering from high failure rates at the moment...

I played with a friends unit the other day, kinda cool but I'll pass on paying $650 for a console! Thats more than a dang laptop! The native 1080p support looks awesome, but doesn't the XBOX 360 have similar features for $250 (price of a Wii) less?

 

i heard that some one took the ps 3 apart and the master board and wire are a mess thats probaly why its havin technical difficulties
