Anyone using IPv6 yet? Windows Vista is suppose to default to use IPv6 than fall back to IPv4.

OS being IPv6 ready... it's the way it has to be. No point if everyone else was v6 and the OS kept you at v4. Some linux builds already support IPv6 iirc. I'm still unsure about vista as the License Agreement alone is a big turn off.

I don't see IPv6 widely implemented in our near future. Equipment cost will wipe out many small businesses that can't afford it (local ISPs, etc).

I agree... Almost every product you buy today will support IPv6 (business product), but the infrastructure is not there yet. The costs are high, and using other methods we've been able to put of the inevitable demise of IPv4. Who knows, maybe we'll see it implemented in our lifetime!

I think VOIP (Voice Over IP) will be easier to implement with IPv6 than IPv4 because of it's nature. It will make integration with UC (Unified Communication) easier.

No, the standard is matured and you should hear this popping up more often in the near future. I think you'll see more adoption by 2008. Most Europe and Asian coutries IP network already support this.
