Yao is the best center for now. However, there's still a long way for teh Rockets to win a championship. Tmac's career is winding down and they are still searching for that third scorer on the team. They also need a power forward who can rebound and shoot. Chuck Hayes is undersized. -nono
Yao's been playing well before his injury and there really hasn't been any competition for Yao in the center position.
Tha rockets also have skip to my lou. Im sure if rafer rly tried, u could do alot better in the nba cuz he owns everyone in streetball. but idk tho since streetball and the nba are pretty different, it just seems taht rafer would have the skillz to play better in the nba.
Yao has been absolutely amazing this year before his injury. He is the best center in the league currently, but I forsee Dwight Howard being the best in the coming year. He has a lot of room to grow and will be the star player for Orlando.
yao is definitely the best center in the league hands down. the problem is that there aren't that many true centers in the league period. there's yao and shaq and...ilguaskas? the NBA is severely lacking in centers. most of the people that play center are either undersized or actually powerforwards
