rar file = a compression file.
you have to uncompress it to get the file you want, in this case it will be a rvmb or rm file. rar is similar to zip.
to uncompress a rar file (i.e. to 'unrar') you need winrar, there's an evaluation version at http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

1. install winrar
2. double click on the rar file
3. extract the file
