well i think lots of ppl here are from Hong Kong. I'm planning to go to HK this summer, after my exam : P what would you prefer to do in HK? i know there are lots of good foods, cheap things etc....
er, i tend to go shoppping and sight seeing when ever i go to hk and not to metion vising relatives etc
Shopping is awesome there speically clothes and digitial stuff. Food is good too and they don't cost a fortune. From eastern to western food... oh yeah! Ummm...
Places to go in summer: Beach!!! - i think its called clear water bay is a nice beach Mong kok - loadsa small shops, markets, generally really busy, plenty of food places too plenty of big western style shopping centres possible but not limited to kownloon tong, Tsim Sa Tui, places in HK island like Central, Sa Tin Ocean Park - got to go there once! Lantau Island, theres a long ass cable car there and the big buddha If your of age, off to Lan Kwai Fong (Central) to the bars and stuff Theres plenty more to do, but you need a hong konger to show you around, could head to china for a few days, sauna, massage, go-karts, paintball
lol paintball ??? where??? is it expensiv? oO well i dont really like china so i think i will stay in HongKong... but beach.... moahhaha XD fanQ for advice -lol
I heard something that the pier got blown away in a storm so no more star ferries till they rebuild it or something... but when i went in xmas i swear i saw some star ferries -noclue Things are cheap in china! but they dont care too much for safety The tires on my go-kart were so bold, it actually blew up mid race...
I go their to call on prostitutes at Sum Sui Bo (my old home suburb) Joking... I go there first and foremost to see my relatives... and of course, endless days of shopping and eating and just sight seeing - at shopping malls.
ido like hk but i find the ppl there to intimidating, because i am bbc, they try to take advantage all the time, that was about 3 years back i dont know aobut know
^ hey im a BBC too, and i know what you mean like when we go shopping my parents we're like did you try and haggle and im like it just doesnt work as they can tell im not from HK >.<
Though I'm not chinese I know a lot of things to do in HK, well I went over there 2times and you have to: - Go to the peak (but only if it is dark outside, such a great view) - Go shopping all the time *g* (that's what I did) - Since you are already 16 (I think it was 16) go to the game halls everywhere in HK and play this fantastic drum or guitar game...don't remember how they call it over there, here it's called guitar hero *g*...I love it - Go to the little restaurants who look like shit, but they have the best food. - If you wanna make party go to Lan Kwai Fong..hahaha...there are almost only gwais ^^ awww, there are so many things to do, I don't know...but I am a gwai mui so I don't know if you asians wanna do other things
saikira, yes that's true.... the family of my friend also said it would be very small and it's only an adventure park for small kids, but I would go there nevertheless^^
