says who..have u seen the laptops around these days....from ur comments u been living in a cave or sometin...
desktop unless you want to be living in a see of portable HDD....but now adays the performace of laptops have caught up to the desktop so its more of a personal preference.....
Probably laptop cause it save up some much space in your home. But on the hand, if u got a desktop computer, u can upgrade very often to do some gaming or DJ stuff lol
Totally depends on what you want. The only reason I can see buying a laptop is for mobility otherwise, PC all the way
laptops advantages: portability for school, work, higher resale valuem similar power to desktop. disadvantages: easily stolen, virus scanner, firewall needed when using other than home, harder to upgrade, takes up less space
The average lifespan of a laptop is about 2 years, if you are a moderate user (again, that depends, but 2 years is like an average), the LCD breaks, the keyboard fall off (which is a heck of money to replace, relative to PC). The same amount of money get you a WAY better equipped PC than laptop. And yes, laptop is a fragile thing, unless you decided to buy a MacBook.
Laptops are higher priced because of the mobility. Sony sells some of their laptops for 2000, and with 2000, you could easily build a desktop doomsday device
Yep there is no way a laptop will beat PC in any area except mobility reasons. laptops are hard to upgrade, expensive to fix (compared to PC) and are more expensive then a PC of same spec Just go for a PC unless you need to bring it around with you
it depends on where you are...if you are going on trips or such then laptops are better, but if you want power, then desktop are better
Desktop for Home Use and Laptop if you Travelling! Desktops are cheaper if you going top end! EG. Gaming laptop will cost around £1.5k - £2k, A Desktop could cost as little as £800! Generally a laptop will start to show signs of wearing within 18months and upgrading them would be difficult!
yeah i agree..it depends on ur needs...none is better..i have both and still..even if i have my laptop..i still need my desktop computer and vice versa.
