    its the usual...prob wont pick up on home users until the first sp and then prob a year into it...

    Just use Linux. It's free. The only problem is the support. Most progs are made for windows.

    Good call, why dont ppl use Mac??-noclue U dont wanna get hacked "THIS YEAR" use

    1 gig of DDR ram
    300 gig hardrive (almost out of space, gonna need an external soon)
    ATI X1300 Pro GPU (terrible gpu, debating between upgrading to an x1900 series or an Xbox360)

    Not really linux's interface is very similar to windows. I heard it's actually better if you're a programmer.

    About linux, itz free like u said. And it is made possible by lots of ppl in this world

    programmers and such, Great. But it doesn't work with some games and programs,

    it juz doesn' t cut it for me.

    Well recently there's a push to make linux a prominent player. I believe it's Microsoft and Red Hat. So in the near future, alot of programs would support both linux and windows.

    I know, but u noe when there is new programs and games that launch on a specific day, linux doesnt keep up with it.

    Trust me if alot of ppl start using linux, the compatibility problem would go away. It's just like anime releases and manga releases. Of course it's more technical but sooner or later the programmers are going to have to cope with the new wave. Plus, most people these days dl cracked games anyway so they'll probably be reprogramed for linux.

    right now linux is just too much of a hastle for the main stream consumer.

    It is. Most mom and pops can't even use a computer but think about it this way. If we could learn to use windows back in the late 90's what's going to stop kids in 2016 to all know how to use linux.
