This series can be said to be the most challenging for Leila as her character must be portrayed from 16 years old to 30 years old. The occupation of her character is certainly tricky, Leila will first play a waitress and then will be forced to marry a court eunuch (太監). Due to such changes in status, Leila will have many ‘looks’ in this series, including a female pretending to be a male (while she is a waiter), a virtuous young woman, a married woman, a horse rider and a bride. But out of all images, Leila likes the waiter look the best. She commented, “This look makes me remember the time I had to imitate a young Leslie Cheung, it was very funny. (Isn’t hurtful when have to bind you chest?) Yes, but thankfully I’m not busty. Leila’s costumes in the series have all been made by hand in Beijing. yeah this series is for mainland china and not for tvb but should tvb decide they could air the series in HK just like they did with The Conquest
