Acedemic success, or social life. As a university student, the pressure to acheive acedemic success is enormous, espcially when you are starting you first year. I not taking people who never comes to class, but still manage to get a 4.10 GPA in the course, but people who work really really hard to get their A, those that stay up until 2 am, and are half-awake of the day. If you had to make a choice between a 4.0 GPA, completely isolating youself, or a 2.0, and risk being expel, but is still the life of the party.
i would totally pick academic success ......... but dont tink i can stay up till 2 am just doing hw ... i would just falll asleep man, but doing other than hw i would like be wide awake .. .weird (maybe its boring hahah that why)...... SO ALL IN ALL I WOULD SACRAFICE SOCIAL LIFE....
Ahhh isnt that the million £/$ question. Uni is all about finding the balance between work and social life.... If you wanted a black and white answer i would say academic, as you are at uni to learn, youve paid for your degree, so why waste it. Sure you can have the party of your life, but what happends when you get expelled and all your friends graduate and get jobs...
that is hard to answer i need a social life but i MUST focus on school work so i would say 75% school work with occasional play on the side wow, look at those stats really shows that those asian parents of ours really taught us well HA HA HA HA
^ lol indeed. Unless its like a social event thats once in a lifetime, i usually stick with the academics first.
i choose social life cause i already sacrificed my academic success. i don't think i can go back to it cause i haven't done it for so long and my job requires me to travel 70% of the year

i think i could manage to do both or be somewhere in the middle.. but if i needed to choose... i'd like the grades since it is a greater accomplishment.
The poll was a bit confusing. The thread starter should've made it "which one would you choose over the other?" and not "which one would you sacrifice?" I bet many idiots here would just chose the one they would rather have, instead of which one they'd SACRIFICE.
Hmm, we have more people who chose Academic Success (those who replied) yet, the poll appears that they'd rather sacrifice Academic Success over the party life.
definitely academic. i'm a student so i'm too poor to party anyways. get the degree, get the job, make the money then party all i want! AND u have a 4 month summer vacation, so u can party till u go nuts during that time.
