i get it sometimes...but im actually half viet xD so i aint botherd :] i get more...''are you korean?'' or ''you look korean''
never a viet but quite a few times people think im korean, im pretty big boy, 6'1 and 250 even played football in high school guess people dont think chinese get that size
lol, yeah. Ho is definetly a hk last name! ive been mistaken... but i guess im half viet?? =S cos my dad is from vietnam... and my surname too.
my friend's last name is Ho . He's Chinese but he can speak Viet . I think there will not be a lot of mistaken
Lol, again, "Ng" is also definitely another HK last name, for sure. Lots of celebrities have that last name: Francis Ng, Kary Ng, Ron Ng... I guess people mistaken it for Vietnamese because of the Viet surname "Nguyen", which is, in fact, statistically the most common Viet last name. That's what annoys me, when people cannot differentiate.
I've been mistaken for japanese, korean, cantonese, viet... you name it... all depends on my hairstylez i tells ya
Will my friend is viet and my aunt talk to him like if he was chinese but I told her he isn't chinese at all kinda funny too...
i'm half viet/chinese, but have a full viet surname Nguyen but i have the chinese look so when people find out i can speak and understand a bit of viet they are surprised
i dont think ive been mistakened as a viet before although my skin is quite dark but i look like a chinese i guess
i live in an area where there's there more viet than chinese..so naturally when i hang out with my viet friends..others would sometimes presume that im viet..xD ..however i don't take it offensively=p
