When i open the Avi. file with "VitualDubMod 1.5.10.2" it It gives me a message saying "VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source avi file and will re-write the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibillity. This may introduce up to 8973ms skew from video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder. (Bitrate: 117.0 13.7 kbps)"

I want to split the Avi. Movie file into two parts by using VitualDubmod but the thing is that if i split the file, the audio is kind of faster than the movie when i play it with "Media Player"... So is there a way to split the file without the audio being out of place. i have also tried "Vidsplitter" But it then didn't have any audio. Because i need to split the movie so that it can be converted to a vcd and be burned onto a vcd.

    Thanks

I use "winavi" to do it. the program automatically splits the movie into VCD disks when you convert it.

dont have Winavi? do a search inside this site/forum you probably find it. if not go to " Technoloyg and Car Chat" section it is posted there.

select full processing mode under the audio tab and then select compression, if you dont compress it you end up with a huge file
