The Dark Forest is scary but there are scenes in the movie where it's totally lame and where you want to punch the characters in the face for making dumb decisions. It's very melodramatic and a lot like Korean dramas, but overall it's good.
Really?? The ring didn't scare me at all, probably coz I was too aggrevated by the character doing nothing when the creature climbs out, at least try to throw something at her or dump the TV, you know. The only part that I really got taken aback was the bed scene in the Grudge. I got a cat, and it LOVES scratching my feet when I sleep, so that was kind of scary. I think Dark Water (the Japanese original) was more scary (and creepy) than Ring and Grudge (originals). Didn't think very high of the English adaptation, too melodramatic and too composed.
I guess if in real life happens to me i would be but in the movie dosent scare me, is just disturbing images and how sick that people enjoying someone suffering.
Grudge was not scary at all. There are so many other scarier ones then the Grudge. Like Child's Play, any one of them is scaried than the Grudge. Even Scream is scarier than the Grudge
Yeah I almost forgot about Pinhead...but now watching it as a adult its sort of like how Nightmare on Elm Street is, funnY heh
^ House of Wax was so bad it was in fact enjoyable with the gore fest. Dark Castle films all the way for horribly-made horror films
definitely Chucky. I hated that doll so much. Ever since I saw the first movie when I was in China, I've always been afraid of Chucky. And now that he has a kid, it's even more creepy than anything else. I remember the moment the child was born in the grave, god, it creeped me out.
