i was wondering if it was okay to repierce a infected ear (cartilage) however u spell it lol. cus like my friend pulled on my earring and got it infected and mann did it hurted -_-" so yeah... will it get infected again if i repierce it?>.<
how long has it been since the infection? i pierced my ear when i was like 8 and it got infected really really really bad. i left it alone and the hold closed up. i repierced it when i was like 15 and it's been okay. i think it just depends on long the infection was.
pierce right next to it like waht i did. or if u need it in that exact place wait till ur infection is gone...perhaps a couple of months.
the infection is gone , now theres a lil bump there :[ bummer. and damm couple months.. then another couple months of healing after repiercing x___x.
I know what you mean..one of my piercing closed up and left a bump. I decided not to repierce it because that area had gotten thicker. It'd probably be much more difficult to deal with, the bump and all. Tell me of your results if you do!
yeah... i think the smart thing to do is wait till it's completely healed.... ouch.... wonder if i should get another one pierced....
my ear gets infected whenever i wear stuff that's fake...cause i got it pierced with a real gold earring when i was little...i guess its kinda sensitive but after a few years it got ok for some reason...i can wear silver now at least..but yeah, infections are painful..they suck : (
If it has been a long time since the infection it is safe to get it re pierced again. I remember the first time I had my ears pierced I got an infection and it closed, so I had to go and do it again. It was fine afterwards.
I think you should wait until it has fully healed before repiercing. Ears are really sensitive areas and can easily swell and cause infections. If it has a bump or lump on it, best just leave it for now. For your ears to heal faster, you should use the ear piercing solution and antiseptic cream.
