How much money do you get for Chinese New Year?

how much money do you guys usually get for new years?

 

Not much. $250 tops. My grandpa/ma gives me usually $100, that's where most of it comes from.

 

my family is medium size ... so the 'red-envelope' income is okay

however, image if your family is huge and rich -- drooling ...

 

around $300, but seem like the more i'm older the less i get>.<

 

dont get enough... i want more lol...

 

I still get money and use it up very fast, but stopped caring about whether I get it or not.

 

it gets less and less every year... even if i have a rather large family. I just realised... most of my relatives have moved away, or we've lost contact with them =/... this year i only got 90$.. whereas i used to get around 150$ on the odd year.

But really, i get my money from both grandmas when it's their birthdays XD

 

whao...i use to get like $500 but now i only get like $300...still OK..

 

about 600. i have lots of aunts and uncle on both sides the family. its pretty sweet.

 

got €340,- last year was €500,- im getting so my familie says: you are extully to ols, cus you are allmost get married (sorrt for my bad english, i from holland XD)

USed to get about 400$ when I was a kid but now most likely will be 200$ tops

 

All depends of how many relatives I see

I am super poor compared to you guys. I always only got $20-50 and the most was probably 100...

 

um... I would probably get 500$ during CNY it varies ever yyear....

 

$600-$700 on average 'cause nobody gives out less than $50. Our family's rich. Don't hate.

im gonna get like prob 100? with all the hate on my dad's side..he has like 9 siblings...i don't even wanna see any of them... i don't care anymore..i get my own money now..fuk it..i just wanan spend time with family that cares and friends...1 of my dad's bro and his family can eat sh1t on cny..piss me off
