the shallowness...honestly if i really liked the guy i don't think it really matters if he had a car or not. realistically, most people don't hav the money to buy cars. and in the real world, lots of ppl ride public transportation. and besides, what's wrong with a walk here and there with someone u like?
WORD. But again, unless I end up living in the rural (which I WILL NOT), not having a car is not a problem. I would probably not having to worry about this problem since I am totally relocate to somewhere with a good transit system (such as NYC and HK) and live in the heart of downtown, where having a car becomes a liability, instead of an asset -- so no cars for me

well the girl i'm seeing likes to walk, the only times i drive her is if she comes over to my place (she works about a 15 min walk from my house) and stays for a while, then thats when i drive her home afterwards. in fact she likes to travel everywhere by train or walking, sometimes i'll offer to drive but she doesn't like it. so yeah guess i'm lucky in that sense i'm not a chaffeur like other guys. but yeah most other girls i know would prefer guys with cars, but thats understandable since its more convenient. If a girl goes for a guy because he has a nice car (i.e rich boy) then thats just plain shallow and wrong.
i have a friend like that, or similar, she hates dealing with driving and love public tranportation gives her time to observe different kinds of people, look at the suurounding area without having to freak out about accidents etc AGREED!!!!!!!!!
I guess it's always nice to have the option of public transit vs. car -- but then it's not necessary a deciding factor Since I know quite a few guys who I'd rather walk than ride in their car =_=b Talk about bad driver.
