I have all three systems all have pro and cons but I would choose the PS3 as it is the most future proof of the three!! Motorstorm is amazing(tho its only 720p) on my HD TV as well as Ridge Racer in 1080p!! I have had my PS3 since launch in Japan and what the problem thats some people are on about??
Thats really opinion, until you own one you have no idea what your talking about. Thats why I hate people who dis on stuff they don't own or think its too expense. It fine that you don't like it but really, your getting a great deal on it. Thats also why I hate fan boys. They think their stuff is the best and want the other companies to die. This will only affect the consumers since it'll lead to slower development and competition (Microsoft and its OS). Before the PS3 launch, Sony clearly said that the price while be different each regions set by companies and retailers, example Europe could freely price whatever they want. You can't blame Sony for this (maybe to some degree), but the blame is retailer and where you live. tonkachi: You forgot wireless adapter , but you can't really say that since some may not need those features. Don't guess, early adapter's have had problems like this for awhile, since launch and until this day. As a matter of fact, both my friends have broken 360's. One a launch and the other late last year. I myself got the red ring of death (green lights turn red) but its was just a loose cable issue. The reason was they rush the 360, Sony took their time and made the system right learning from their PS2 mistake. Sure the PS3 gets downgraded but are you really going to be playing every single ps1/2 game out their? As for the rumor price drop, if you have the money but are waiting for the price cut, it's going to be a long one. Just buy it and enjoy. The second you buy something technology related, your screwed cause a bigger badder version is around the corner or lower price. yo sz1hart...thanks for actually readin my post....i got fed up with the people sayin that my PS3 was over priced and not worth the money...so i did the obvious and wrote down the basic specs of my system and what it would cost for a person to get "almost" identical to what my system had...and it came out to be more expensive....some people just need to put all the fact together and figure out wat the hell they are talking about before getting into an argument... another good point sz is that technology as soon as u buy it loses its value...hell technology loses its value as soon as it hits the assembly line....
me and others got our friend a ps3 for his birthday. i think we made the right choice. i prefer ps3 more than xbox

Gears wasn't that fun...co op was but Multplayer was laggy (unless host). I also have to give a thumbs up to Motorstorm for looking so great on a first generation game. I truely love the 360s Live feature since nothing comes close to it (for now) but the fee and online lag is not fun. Halo + lag = not fun :(. This is where I think Sony will win if they keep it up. Dedictaded servers for their games WITHOUT Fees result in no lag. Their really isn't any great first party games, or not alot of them. Sony has more resouces which allows them to produce more first party games. Motorstorm, Little Big Planet, etc. This is really important since pretty much all 3rd partys games will be multiplatform. However you won't be able to experience all the great games without one or the other. PS3 all the way man, i want one T_T i have a 360 but i prefer the ps3 lol Y did it have to sell out when i bought my next gen.
Hopefully by mid of this year great games will be out for the Ps3 and kicks microsoft's ass ^_^ and place the best system on the map.

Oh.. wondering if PS3's network gameplay is also free. I read somewhere that the PS3 users don;t need to pay anything for online play unlike X360? Am I right? Please enlighten me further.
